Pull the exhaust that save a bunch. More power to you hope you do it I wanna see some numbers. I get the feeling a lot of guys buying these trucks are afraid to drive them or modify anything!Ok guys,
I should be getting the truck back today or tomorrow and I want to start shedding weight. I want to remove as much as possible with out compromising the truck. I will never be off road so here is what I have in mind.
1. Spare tire and equipment to lower and raise the wheel.
2. Take off as much of the skid plate underneath the truck
3. Aftermarket bumpers?
If anyone sees any other parts that can be removed to help shed weight please chime in.
No I won't be taking seats out or anything like that I want to be able to pull up and look somewhat stock. Not a stripped down racer
This is all in the name of speed . A guy locally ran 12.38 @ 108 mph.
I would love to see how much I can pick Up by removing some weight.View attachment 5167also I don't know if this person has removed any weight from the truck.
Pull it when you tune I assume
Asking for specifics smart guys lolUm the “tune” should take care of that small problem.
