Trx is going on a diet.

I think you have the recipe for what you're after (lightened, street only daily that you can track).

Beyond a few easy to remove items the biggest bang for the buck might be a lighter, and slightly shorter set of road focused wheels and tires.

Remove
Spare tire
Mounting hardware for spare, jack
Skid plates
Side steps/running boards
Carpet
Sub or larger speakers (behind the cover/grate)
Rear seat - but you wanted to keep that and look stock-ish.

Replace
Lighter bumpers or lighter crashbars behind the bumper covers **for off road / track use only of course
Lighter battery (Li)
Lighter exhaust (not sure anyone will make one out of Ti, might have to go custom) and headers
Aluminum rear control arms
Airbox - smaller and or CF
Hood - sure you will have a CF option but believe the hood, doors, and tailgate are aluminum so the weight savings may be small, and require dry carbon
Two piece brake rotors
Lighter brake calipers (FYI for anyone following the brake thread I haven't heard back from Essex/AP)
Driveshafts - not sure if one or both are already aluminum?
Rear axle - fabricated 9-inch, or even a fabricated semi-float (both would drop weight)

A question for the group - are the fenders steel or composite/plastic?
There is a thread on what the panels are made of. I think fronts are fiberglass and rears aluminum

Just go get some slicks and take all the stuff off that you mentioned for the track and then put it back on when you get home. Oh, and removing extra seats saves weight.... in the name of speed.
The only living thing that gets in the back of my cars is typically my dog. I’m gonna pull the back seat probably

Make it RWD?
This was a really popular mod on the gallardo. I haven’t followed it on the huracan but it saved 300ish pounds iirc

Just remove the bed. You don't need it. get trailer lights and splice them in

3-400 lbs off of a 6500lb truck isn't the same as off a 3000lb car.....will make very little difference...
While I agree partially with this for straight 1/4 mile performance I think it would make a big difference on braking and turning

You don't want to remove the weight over the rear tires if possible, you need as much weight transfer as possible for a good launch. Put the driver on a diet, or drop weight from the front of the truck would be better outcome. Upsprung weight would be a massive improvement and could be done with no permanent damage to the truck, i think the stock wheel tire setup is probably close to 100lbls per/wheel. Plus you could run some sticky drag radials on all 4 with decent sidewall, and throw them in the back when you leave.

I used to drive around with drag tires in the bed...a jack and tools...just in case I wanted to swing by the track hahahaha.... took $50k+ to get into the 10s but it was fun....

We are hoping for 10s will just the pulleys/ fuel/tune on radials . To be able to say that is crazy!!

Hah - hadn't thought about pulling the bed. Want to meet in the middle - aluminum flatbed - TRX-F?

What you doing about the governor?

1) Rip out the interior and replace just the front two seats with carbon fiber shells.
2) Replace the bed with a fiberglass shell unless you actually plan to haul something in it.
3) Replace exhaust with Titanium side cut outs.
4) Replace glass.
5) Remove dash, instrument cluster and infotainment system, add gauge stack and gps timing.
6). Replace 33 gallon fuel tank with 10 gallon fuel cell.
7) Replace wheels and tires with much lighter versions supporting a higher speed rating.
8) Replace Bilstein shock system with lighter and stiffer system.
🤦🏼‍♂️😂😂😂😂
