Transportation Chapman to California

It was videos and horror stories like this... That made me more than happy.... to pay only $3k under MSRP
And pick it up 20 miles from my house lol.
yes,...
but no matter how much pay ... it's never 100% guaranteed ... everyone can have a bad day and a bad shipment ... just because you pay less doesnt mean they treat your vehicle any diffently ... you just have to do your due diligence ...

What’s the name of the company?

True, but I had the chance to see it before I wrote the check, If I had it shipped from 2,000 miles away, I would have already bought it, then had to pray it wasn't damaged en route, or screwed up right out of the factory... and work for a resolution... as opposed to just taking a pass.

I’m flying in to put eyes on mine before I finalize anything and then will have it transported home if everything checks out ok

I used stopwatch from chapman to the inland empire in February. No issues. I just emailed for another quote to go from Dan Cummins to Rancho Cucamonga on another trx. I was happy that's why I'm going g that route again.
Stopwatch quoted me $3000 from Dan Cummins to San Diego. All other quotes were between $2700 and $3000 how is it people are being quoted $1800 crazy. Oh well they picked it up yesterday and should be here by Tuesday.

I just got a quote and it was $3200. Back at the end of February when they shipped the 1st 1 from chapman it was $2100. Diesel is insane right now though.

I’m going to pass on this. The reviews online looked horrible.
wow ... never read the reviews ... went by past local snowbird referrals that use them regularly back and forth to east coast and phoenix ... all l can say l guess is lm lucky l have only had great experiences using them 4 separate times east coast to phoenix and 1 time back to east coast from phoenix ... l would use them again and will be as soon as the Sandblast comes in ...

Looking for transportation of TRX from Chapman to Southern California (San Diego). Truck just hit the lot today so should be in the next couple of weeks.

Any recommendations on vendors? I know prices has been fluctuating lately due to gas prices but any feedback on how much you paid for a similar transport would be appreciate it.
I went through a company named airryd look them up on YouTube very helpful the owners name is Wes from Arizona and he got me my truck in under 6 days for about $2000 to riverside ca here’s his number you can get a quote from +1 (913) 215-3113

I am the one that originally opened this thread. Thank you to all that contributed!.

I ended up going with airryd, just like the poster above. Got my TRX yesterday in about 6-7 days from initial contact until delivery, here in San Diego. Paid $2385.

How did you like the service? Any issues with damage to the truck in transit? I’m also in SD and would consider shipping if it was reasonably priced and a solid service experience.

Note that all these companies are brokers; they just find a transport company for you. In my case, I got my truck without any issues. They did pick it up within 2 days as they promised and took 4-5 days to make it to California. Communication from airryd was excellent. Communication from the transport company not that great but wasn't a big deal since I was able to track the location of the truck via the Mopar app. I must have refreshed the app 3000 times during those days to get the current location!! :) Overall was very happy with the whole process, specially considering that some of the other quotes I got were on the high 2000s.

I recently had a new 2022 Ram TRX also shipped by airRyd.com , have to say I was quite nervous indeed about shipping a 100k truck over 2000 miles from Horsham, PA to Palm Desert. This industry is quite shady to say the least. But yes it also took over $2000. Apparently these are more expensive to ship simply due to the weight (around 6k pounds) and the added width. I had a very good experience for the most part and second the communication that @alonzoviz mentioned, you can actually text this company basically around the clock which is quite nice VS waiting on hold for 3 hours to talk to a random rep.

My shipment to San Diego from the Chicago area I had the same anxiety as you do.

But if I had to do it over again I would still do the same thing except I would have the dealer put one of those apple AirTag‘s inside the truck so you can track it.

You should also be able to track it from the Ram customer care app.

Just knowing its location and that it’s moving really helps to give you confidence in the move.

Good luck buddy everything will be just fine!
