I have a raptor currently and I have to turn the heater on in the summer when going up grades in AZ heat. Is this a concern with the TRX.
Load is a RZR ProR4 on open trailer 5k lbs

I towed an 8000 pound covered car trailer up the grade from Death Valley to Nevada a 4500 foot climb over about 13 miles, 6.5% grade. Ambient temp at Death Valley 110 degrees, top of grade 92 degrees. At top of grade highest temps: engine coolant 234 deg, engine oil 286 deg, trans oil 214 deg. Ran 5 PSI boost at 60 mph most the way. Left the trans in drive for auto gear select. Attached pic was at the top of grade, where I caught up to a slow car.
The fluid temps were well within allowed range. 286 may seem high but it was for a short period and is OK with fully synthetics. TRX has safety limits, which were beyond these temps.
I selected the TRX (2023) over the Raptor V6 or V8 (R) due to the iron block 6.2 engine. Actually, I sold my Raptor 6 months after owning and proving out my TRX. I did not want an aluminum block or small engines pulling this trailer. I have had excellent results towing and have found that the TRX has excellent cooling. The AC worked great too.

I have towed 7500 lb 33 ft travel trailer up slow high grade mountains here in Wyoming during 100 plus degree days. I have never had any trouble with temps. Most I have seen is the coolant get is 220 and the trans 210. When those temps are hit I can hear the electric fan come on full blast and temps drop back down. In 10 to 15 minutes temps are back down to 190 for the coolant and 185 for the trans. Had the a/c even running full blast. I almost stop looking as much anymore because I know the truck can handle it with easy unless something is wrong with the coolant system.

The Revmax will remove the ATF restriction and thermostat from the trans line (lots of info on forum here about it/climate)
Another option from OnTheReel: https://www.ram-trx.com/threads/mishimoto-transmission-thermostat-preliminary-review.24229/
If you don't want the Revmax...AFE sells a trans cooler: (still limited to when the atf therm opens)

As for oil there is now an upgraded oil cooler from PWR, they are also working on a SC heat exchanger and a fan version of the oil cooler for rock crawling speeds.

Heard folks are running a 190F thermostat with no tune/no issues but I need to read more on it, the lower ones require a tune.

Thanks for the replies, it seems there isn’t much cause for concern.

Stock trans cooler works great. The stock thermostat works great with no limiting restriction. I suggest to keep the system stock. Stock operates well as designed. Stock also maintains warranty.

Towed my can up the mountain from phoenix. About 6500ft elevation gain in 105 degree weather , saw 210 coolant max , trans never went over 180 I have the mishimoto thermostat , oil got up to 230 at one point. Tons of power too
