Toledo Raceway Pickup

So, like a few others on here I have gotten the offer to have my truck picked up at Toledo Raceway. The cost is $1000 and I could be driving my truck next week. I really want my truck but this just feels like a shitty cap on an otherwise very good experience with the dealer.

Where is @RamCares to help us with this? They are the ones that can’t get a handle on their shipping.

I’m probably going to go for it but damn does it feel… lame.

I just got a call from Dan Cummins in Paris,KY and he explained how I had a delivery date scheduled, then my truck was moved to the Toledo Raceway yard and they removed the ETA. He said that my VIN came up as eligible for a pilot program that allows the dealer to pick up the car themselves and...

ONLY DanCummings is doing it and they are asking as much as $1700 extra
what is Stellanting doing here by letting dealers rip off customers?
So now we have a fast lane delivery or preferential treatment?
Is it a logistics problem or a money grab? If dealers can pick up why isnt Stellantis let everyone pick up

Normally I’m all for “guilty until proven innocent” when it comes to dealers. But, the team at Dan Cummins has been very good to work with so far. I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt and see what is driving this issue/solution/cost.

They are not doing you a favor. People feel they have a connection with the dealer because dealer offered them a discount. ..Since I mentioned they tried to screw me up on taxes I got 3 different ppl messaging me saying the same thing or asking how they need to proceed to get what they were charged extra refunded. It's 4 ppl if you count the one that posted directly in the thread I linked. Koons Kia got investigated and fined for exactly same thing by state AG. If you add into the ecuation what they keep from your taxes plus the delivery fee you get half or less of what they advertise as discount.
If it's Lexington location call 502-542-6488 ext 2206..they'll refund you the difference AS LONG AS YOU ASK FOR IT
@RamCares what's up with extra charges for delivery?
@DanZman i can give you the exact AZ fees since the truck was titled in AZ and compare with your numbers and see if they tried to charge you more

once it gets to twin oaks right down the road ill let them know lol im sure they can too. My lease is up mid june so i need this thing in the next few weeks or im legit carless lol

I figure if vehicles are stuck for that long mid shipment the destination fee should probably be waived on our end, or should go towards the fee we are having to pay to get the vehicle to the dealer.
