Thinking about buying a TRX

I'm thinking about buying a TRX in the Connecticut area. willing to travel 200 miles
What should I do to get the best deal and should I wait for 2024 order banks to open

Buy one gently used. I bought two over the years and they were dealer bought with low miles and no markup. My 2021 had 900 miles and the ’22 had 3,000. No hassle, no markup. Mint condition. I bought the ‘22 out of state.

It was just announced on the 5th Gen forum that base prices for 2024's are going up another $650 tomorrow. Not 100% sure if it applies to the TRX, since it's already seen a $10,640 increase for 2024.
EDIT: Nevermind. Just got confirmation that the TRX isn't part of the new increase.

Sounds like a sales or advertising gimmick. My charger... TRX and wife's 24 JLU Rubi X... None showed up on the search MFG search or listed inventory or in transit at all.? Maybe a dealer specific thing.

Nah, it’s a manufacturer requirement of the dealers in case the order holder doesn’t show up, that the marketing is already out there and it doesn’t sit. BMW does this, and so does Ford

Just stating a fact none of my factory orders found their way on there. It's definitely something dealers do... But I can't speak with certainty as to how required it is vs just how common practice it is.

Oh, interesting. Yeah, mine popped up on auto search sites, but I didn’t worry about it too much because the same thing happened when I ordered my M4. Both dealers told me the same thing. I wouldn’t be shocked if both dealers were giving me some bs about being “required to post them” lol.
