Thinking about buying a TRX

I wanted a 2022, searched nationwide everyday for over a month. Almost gave up because I only wanted a Hydro fully loaded with red accent and carbon fiber under 3k miles. Finally found one in Chicago "Pearl Ram" (awesome dealership name) with 1k miles dealer demo at MSRP. Drove 16hrs from Texas to trade the Raptor in and 16hrs back home. Long trip, totally worth it. If I was spending that kind of money I wanted it to have everything and didn't want to just settle. Honorable mention to Dan, Mark, and Granger dealers. Spoke with all and would have made a deal with any of them if they had what I was looking for, but great folks over there none the less. Bottomline expand your range and enjoy the adventure.

Don't know where abouts in CT you are, but I bought mine from Fitzpatrick's in Ansonia for MSRP. Plus they gave me a decent trade-in deal on my Power Wagon . And, Going off their website, they have 2 coming in (I believe a lunar and hydro blue). Wouldnt hurt to give them a call.
Don' t know your time frame of purchase, but I actually called Fitzpatricks when they had a Lunar hit the ground in early July. They are close to me and remember it well, because I found mine a couple days later (7/12) at msrp. They wanted $10k ADM, wouldn't budge. It had just hit the lot. Salesman told me a Hydro Blue was in transit. The Lunar sat there for awhile at that price. Pretty sure it was sold recently, but they keep the listing on Cargurus. I believe the Hydro is still there, but they have a $5k ADM on it. Always worth a call and an offer.

Timing and model in regards to options, exterior color can have an impact. I did only inquire about the Lunar, but curious when you purchased at MSRP and if it was a TRX? Maybe they received Two Lunars, but doubtful because they are a pretty small dealership.

Just saw a Lunar at Smithaven Dodge in Smithtown, NY.
Looked inside, sticker says $106k
Couldn't ask for final pricing or verify ADM as they were closed.
For anyone looking for one in the area, May be worth checking it out.

There are no 2024 order banks. The last TRX’s will be allocation only. Find one on a lot, or from a private seller - that’s your only option now.
Want an almost new used one? There is one for sale in Columbus.

I love being right about grabbing a 2023 BEFORE the "Last SCAM," I mean "Last Call" event. Got to love the markup excuses they give
I'm telling you KnightMare has been saying this all along and has been 10,000 percent correct. Appreciate you sir!!! You are a great resource on the forum. Always enjoy your insight!!!

Did you get one?

Try calling this dealer which has been prominent on this site for a couple of years, it’s worth a call

I went to a dealership today and the sales people told me would be fired if they sold one at msrp

Being from the same state as you, start in Pennsylvania and work your way west, northwest and southwest. No chance a dealer in New England or the tristate area will sell one at or under MSRP.

First TRX I picked up was from Number 1 Cochran out in western PA, then second TRX was from Chapman near Philly. Chapman has a bunch on their web site so you could give them a call and see what you could negotiate.

Based on search ram truck inventory there are 410 new TRXs nationwide either in route to, or on dealer lots. Not sure how accurate it is but if you are motivated to get a new TRX, just put the work in and hit up these dealerships. https://www.ramtrucks.com/vehicle-selector.sni.html
That’s what I thought before I got my TRX, but after talking to a dealer, I was told that all of those that show up in inventory or in-transit are almost all spoken for on orders. They’re just required to list them as inventory until the order holder picks their truck up.

You, sir, and your Youtube channel are partly the reason why I jumped on the 2023 band wagon when I did. So glad I did, despite what the wife thinks of the yellow color. Not sure I ever told you that, so thank you for your wise advice!

In other words, its probably not a good dealership. The ones around me wouldn't sell one at MSRP to me either. I had to travel about 3 hours south to find one at MSRP, and I think I got a tad lucky that there was one that close. There are still some Lunars, and maybe a few Havocs, on the lots if you want a fully loaded model. My local dealer has a used 2022 with 15k miles and a single Lunar left. Website claims MSRP, but last time they did that, it was actually a $17.5k markup on the lot.

The TRX will most likely live on with an updated "facelift" in a year or so, but not with the Hellcat engine. A reputable Youtuber we all know has stated that it will have the high output Hurricane inline-six engine, and he's been right about a lot of things so far, so I'd trust him.
The new TRX will follow Raptor steps? from a V8 to a Turbo charged V6? The Raptor R will be officially the new King of the Trucks.

Sorta. Turbo charged I6, not V6, but your point still stands. Not only will the Raptor R be the new king, but it will just further drive up its price, I bet, since it will have no competition.

Might mean better resale/value for our "old" TRXs though.

At these prices I'm buying used next year lol
Why didn't you just order a '23 back when you were telling everyone else to? :ROFLMAO: Didn't trust your own advice? Sure glad I did.

Sounds like a sales or advertising gimmick. My charger... TRX and wife's 24 JLU Rubi X... None showed up on the search MFG search or listed inventory or in transit at all.? Maybe a dealer specific thing.

Best decision I made to go looking for the lunar and found one. 2 days and 28 hours of driving later totally worth it

Just find a color you like, already in stock somewhere and go for it! You won't be disappointed. (y)

Great man! Really it doesn’t matter what you pay, this machine brings joy beyond belief …. enjoy!
