Tazer DT GROUP BUY

Yeah.......don't change that. TRXs are interesting on the splash screen stuff - not the same as a "normal" DT.

Disconnect the battery neg for 30 minutes, that should reset the BCM and get that back - assuming its unmarried, back to "stock".
So...disconnecting the battery for well over an hour didn’t work. Any other ideas? And yes, I unmarried the until as well as removing it from the truck.

I have quite a bit of knowledge on how to use these, with years using them on my vehicles..........but I can't say that I 100% know what to do next on this one.

Best bet, reach out direct to ZAuto - https://www.zautomotive.com/support/ (see lower corner, text support number)

I am curious to hear what fixes it though!

I did the same thing to mine by mistake. I unmarried and did a reboot. It all went back to normal..

I started to get help from them, but they went dark. I think I am going to marry it again, reboot, then u marry and reboot. Hope that helps.

Is there any reason why I shouldn’t start playing with the Tazer and changing things up if I have to bring the truck back to the dealer for a few things next week?

No reason not to. Just remember to unmarry and remove the Tazer DT prior to bringing it in.

The dealer will know it was on there FYI. When I went in to fix the EVIC not working due to the tazer, about a 3rd of the computers were “yellow” (blue is normal). There was also an error code saved in the security module. They already knew what I had done so no big deal, but if your dealer isn’t as good as mine is, who knows.

What's the fix for the cameras not working after marrying?

my camera started showing an error today “system not available”. I ended up unmarrying the Tazer DT and the camera system returned. Not sure if this is coincidence or not.

This has happened to me now too. I just unmarried and hopefully a couple of cycles will bring it back.

So after trying a couple different things and unmarrying and completely removing the tazer from the vehicle it appears the tazer has deleted the rear cam option off of my truck. It is no longer in my UConnect screen or anywhere no matter what I have done. All I get is the blue screen saying camera system unavailable. I don't feel that this should be possible with this type of product.

I know it is frustrating…did the same for me. However, after a day or so, the cameras came back. Then I married the Tazer without making changes. All worked well. Once I made a few changes, everything still worked. Don’t know if that is the key, but it did work.
Give it a day and you camera will come back. Mine was blue just like yours!

I talked to Joe (owner from ZAutotech) this morning.

A common issue that he's seeing is that people are changing the "CAM EN" to No. That shouldn't be changed with the vehicles with the 360 cam. This is being updated in the instructions for the 18.0.6 firmware.

You need to do a reboot and 2 sleep cycles - that should get that back for you.

Forgive me if this has been hashed out or if it’s just a stupid question but here goes anyway. If I use the Tazer to disable seat belt alarms and adjust the DRL’ s along with a few personal touches and my truck has some catastrophic engine failure down the road would the dealership know that I had used the Tazer even if I unmarried it? Would they then say my warranty is voided?

Typically no.....assuming you unmarry before going in for service, and hook up the stock security module (which is what the tazer plugs into)

I am not using mine for Live Settings. So I can unplug it (leave married) and plug the truck back into the security module, correct?

Correct. Once you change the settings for non live stuff......pull it and you are set.

RetroShop,

Can we still get group buy $50.00 discount?

Sorry, that code expired a few weeks ago unfortunately.

Anyone with amp steps know if the tazer can deploy the side steps from within the cab? I know their new update they state the factory on screen button is there like the factory, I'm sure it works for the mopar steps, just curious about amps.
