I dug into the wiring diagram for those the other day. They seem to be tied to the trailer parking lights. With that.....it won't be part of changing the DRL to turns, totally different circuit.

That's so weird... they come on with the headlights and parking lights though. I usually drive with parking lights on just for those

yup! Its tied to the parking lights (which are on with headlights too) - but its not part of the "BCM", they are on the trailer tow circuit (which is 12v vs canbus)

Ahhh ok got it now. I guess in that case my next question is can I turn off the rear parking lights separately? The goal here is to have the scoop lights on and the DRLs in amber and thats it

I don't think so, as it is tied to the same circuit. After kiddo's games today I'll log back into dealerconnect and review the diagram again - but I don't think that will work, without simply unplugging them.......which defeats using them when the actual parking lights are on.
