You can’t technically relocate it, only remove the connector, extend it and put it somewhere else. Yes the physical button is moved but thats it. Just like every other plug and play killswitch (like the ones sold here) you just unplug it and plug the factory connector in. That is barely a deterrent unfortunately.

Looking around, I found this push button start switch but is for a 2023 Jeep Wrangler 392 - Link (JW2 is not affiliated with this vendor - just sharing info) Looks like P/N for push button switch on 2023 Jeep Wrangler 392 is: 68307356AC, and yes my harness will work with that push to start switch as it's same one used across multiple years of Jeep Wranglers.

Is anyone interested in a harness to wire in a kill switch for the start button? I did not want to cut factory wiring so I made a harness with factory plugs and 2 wires that will lead to a kill switch. $25 shipped. View attachment 57316

I would like to buy one of your harnesses. I tried to pm you but I was unable (probably because I am a new user). Can you PM me your information? Do you take PayPal?

@maestro5531 disappeared in early August - 7 months ago. Don’t expect a reply.

This is the worst option you can go with. It will be a waste of your time and money.

Of course a $25 kill switch isn't going to do the same job as a thousand dollar+ solution, but to say its a waste of your time and money is quite arrogant...

Actually its not and spot on. You buy it, spend the time to plug it all in and run wire to some location you thing is “hidden” and they bust a window, climb in, delete your key fob, make a new one, go to start it, reach up, unplug your hidden switch, plug factory in and drive away with no turn signals. As stated, a waste of time and money.

Just another plug and play gimmick. I use a version from them for Hyundai and kia because nobody wants to spend $1,200 on a car worth $2,400. It can be unplugged and factory plugged back in. Will take a minute or 2 but not hard at all when the install instructions are readily available. Never go plug and play because it can be unplugged and you no longer own it.

According to JDI only the installer will know where it is , and it doesn't plug into the obd, also it need a code to statt , maybe its a newer version ?

No, its all plug and play and I had a conversation with JDI about it and their wording when they started advertising. They replied with “it will take longer to remove than install and thieves won’t take the time”. They most definitely will. If you can install it plug and play they can unplug and play with your vehicle as they are driving it to Mexico

So?What saved your truck? We know there was a broken window but what was done to indicate they attempted to steal it? What stoped them from stealing it? More info please.
