Ship date pushed back?

Just last week my truck said it’s estimated to ship Monday, April 12 and today it was shipped to storage and now says estimated ship date is April 28. Is it really going to sit there for two weeks if so who do I have to call to get them to ship it? I’m also in California and if anybody knows how long it takes for her to get from Michigan to California please let me know

Same boat as you my friend, had an estimated ship date of April 10th and was built over the weekend like you. My estimated ship date now says April 27th and I am in JS status - shipped to storage. Not sure if that is because we are waiting on something constrained, heard about the bed side decals, or if there is another issue with shipping. Waiting for my dealer to hear from his regional rep but nothing so far. I have looked for similar updates in the forum and have heard about the truck just showing up at the dealer without any other updates or a window sticker but that may be wishful thinking on our part. For now until we hear something, I guess we patiently wait...again. If you hear anything I would be interested and I will post if I hear anything, for now I guess our trucks will be making friends while they sit in a black hole called storage.

Shipping is a $hit show.

Took my truck near two months (from build date) to get from Sterling Heights, MI to Pulaski, WI.......

Took 15 days to get to Seattle from Michigan (which is pretty fast). It sat for a week prior to it being shipped. Shipping is a hot mess like many have said.

You think? I had no idea trains still ran across country. They removed most of the rails around these parts. Sucks they are getting delayed even more

And I live in the same parts. I’m speaking from experience having actually received my truck and dealt with the shipping nonsense. Rail shipping is largely a joke.

A guy posted on the forum today that he ordered in January and his dealer told him that the decals and beadlocks are on hold and the factory has no idea when they will get them in. But one of the forum managers said that trucks are going out with beadlocks and graphics. I also spoke with Chrysler Chat and they told me they were not on back order. So what is the real truth and what is going on

Chrysler chat is a f’n joke. They have no idea what they’re talking about. They give canned answers to every question. Only the dealers and regional reps seem to have real time knowledge of what is on constraint / shortage

I was on Chrysler chat last night asking them of there was a delay on beadlocks and graphics. They told me not that they were aware, the only delay was on microchips which should arrive in the middle of April. That may be why your truck is being held. But it seems to me that no one really knows the truth. You would think as many people buying these...they would know someone that works there and knows the truth.

Ask anyone who’s been on the forum for any length of time (beyond my time) if they’ve gotten a real answer from the chat function. It’s useful for narrowing down your build status codes but other than that it’s largely useless. Beadlocks have been in and out of being on shortage from when I ordered mine back in late January. I stopped paying that close of attention to them since I didn’t order them. I know other members have had holdups because of them and eliminated them from their builds for that reason.

Well being that 2021 production stops 3rd week in July. So I would assume they would have to have them by then or do something different

When I ordered mine dealer said avoid Carbon and beadlocks. I know I sailed through the build process comparative to most. I decided I can buy beadlocks if I wanted them afterwards. Hell now I’m waiting on an auxiliary radiator replacement for weeks

My dealer doesn't know squat. I have learned more than them and found my status out before them. I am going to go in Friday and raise a fuss.
