Wow that video looks like it is a pretty in depth process to remove and relocate the fin. Id probably have a professional do it myself.
I did try that. Mine is a loaded level 2 with the camera and whatever else. I was told that the headliner would need to be dropped to remove the light.
I pulled the screws and the light was still on therE VERY tight. Didn’t want to brake anything so I put the screws back.
I get that feeling but i dont let any one touch my vehicles , ive had too much bad luck taking expensive vehicles to shops, but once you over come that fear brother youll do so much to your vehicles , I had a challenger hellcat and i was scared to drill in the hood , all 3 of my hellcats i pinned the crank that too me was scary, and now to my 2500 i drilled 15 holes for the clearance lights lol.Wow that video looks like it is a pretty in depth process to remove and relocate the fin. There's a gasket around the back of the light just try to start pulling the light off near a cornerI did try that. Mine is a loaded level 2 with the camera and whatever else. I was told that the headliner would need to be dropped to remove the light.

Hello, no the orientation doesnt matter, i didnt use any tape or zip tie , I just put in side the liner and its been there with no problem or issues I did it for the same reason hitting the top of the garage.I know this is an old thread but was hoping someone who did this could give a little insight on what they did with the sharkfin inside the vehicle.
Do you attach it somewhere? Ziptie it? 3m tape? Does it matter the orientation of it?
My truck that I just bought yesterday jussssst fits in my garage but I'm pretty sure if I had a little more tire pressure of roll over a stone incorrectly I'd be in trouble. Removing the fin is my best bet but I want to keep the functionality.
Thank you sooooo much. This really saved me. I had a 16 f150 that didn't fit in the garage well width wise cause the mirrors. So I manually would fold the drivers mirror in to give me a few inches. I didn't give it a thought when I bought this ram truck that it would sit higher. I got doe eyed when I saw extra hd shocks front and back and was sold. I missed the part that it also has a 1 inch lift as well.Hello, no the orientation doesnt matter, i didnt use any tape or zip tie , I just put in side the liner and its been there with no problem or issues I did it for the same reason hitting the top of the garage.

Would you mind providing a pic of this? Trying to figure out where to relocate as well. Thanks.Hello, no the orientation doesnt matter, i didnt use any tape or zip tie , I just put in side the liner and its been there with no problem or issues I did it for the same reason hitting the top of the garage.
it fits behind the third brake light, there's lots of room up there. You can see a pic of it on his first postWould you mind providing a pic of this? Trying to figure out where to relocate as well. Thanks.
Awesome looks goodDid mine
Really? Nothing about that “looks good”. The only good thing is that hardly anyone will see that fender washer screwed to the roof.Awesome looks good
Sorry you don't like it , it's intended so you can park the TRX in your garage, specially if it's lifted like mine are.Really? Nothing about that “looks good”. The only good thing is that hardly anyone will see that fender washer screwed to the roof.
Nah, I get why it would be done. Just don’t think it “looks good”. I don’t think the stock shark fin looks good either. Boggles my mind that the shark fin is the best they can come up with.Sorry you don't like it , it's intended so you can park the TRX in your garage, specially if it's lifted like mine are.
