Second TRX...or 392 Wrangler??

Two TRX couple here.

Jeep is going to unveil a possible 20th anniversary 392 at the at Easter Jeep Safari.

‘22 IE TRX, and an inbound Snazzberry 392XR due to arrive soon. Screw gas prices! 👹

I'd look at the new bronco's. They look better in person
Wait for April. Jeep will announce something for 392 as @Nitro said
You can buy a 6v Bronco in the future but a HEMI Jeep this is it or 2023 and thats it

Regardless if 2023 or 2022 is the last year . 392's are going to always fetch a premium because of their short production spawn..they were released in 21

I swear I can buy a Wrangler and swap in a 20k Hellcat motor cheaper than a 392 Wrangler. I didn't realize the price jumped so high on it just like the TRX.

lol, a chevy ss is a 4 door camaro, you have 2 of the same type cars
Thats what I have with my trx :) 2015 M6 with a 2300 blower.

A 392 wrangler is great if your a person that loves jeeps, but its an acquired taste for others. I would consider one if they put that motor in a longer wheelbase gladiator, because a live front axle short wheelbase with a soft top is not fun above 45mph.

Well I beg to differ, the 392 is a great vehicle both in town and on the highway, just pulled a 16' flat aluminum loaded with a Sportsman and RZR ~500miles at full Interstate and US highway speeds and averaged 11.2MPG. No issues passing, staying in the lane or swaying with the crosswinds. I have the Bestop Sunrider and 35" Falcon WildPeak AT3/Ws on mine now too and it wasn't overly loud on the highway either.

And that's exactly why I've had, and have, so many Jeeps. They are just great in town and on the highway.

Oops...wait...I have my vehicles mixed up here. Sorry.
It's the Challenger that's great on the highway. The Jeeps do quite well on good trails, though. Or at least the flatfender does.

Meanwhile. I don't do well in towns, so it doesn't matter what I drive then.

I would get a Trackhawk for the wife and keep my TRX. She’s currently driving a 2008 Trailblazer SS , that Trackhawk would be a huge upgrade.

So your sarcasm leads me to believe you disagree  That's fine, it's ok to be close-minded about modern Jeeps. ;)

I am indeed about as close minded as it gets when it comes to late model Jeeps.

In my mind they stopped making Jeeps in '54. But, that hasn't prevented me from also having later models (a Willys wagon, several FC-150s and an FC-170, a CJ 6, a '75 DJ, a 2000 Cherokee, an '08 JK, and a Trackhawk, for example).

And one thing I've learned along the way is that the more they say Jeep on them, in all kinds of places, the less Jeep they are.

Meh just because you can….

The 392 wrangler has plenty of power and decent suspension upgrades, but it still a short wheelbase solid front axle, and high center of gravity; so its by no means an optimal tow vehicle for damn sure. I was just referring to normal commuting and highway travel mostly, and how its not a confidence inspiring ride imo. However, it is a beast on the trails if you convert your hubs, and have at least a rubicon with the dana40 front axle, ideally a diesel or six speed with a maggie if not a 392.

Ive had 4 jeeps, and the only one I really loved was the srt grand cherokee, by far the best looking jeep, or suv hands down. So Im basing this off personel experience, not a motor trend stats report. Some people like hellaflush or static dropped mini trucks, or carolina squat; I dont. So to each their own is cool with me.
