Ram TRX returns Q1 2026

I just sent them an email to ask about that package. 😂🤣I have been on the fence so long, it’s about time to pull the trigger.
Do it.

With my power upgrades this new TRX doesn’t tempt me one bit. My truck is lot faster. Of course being cheaper and paid for helps a lot too. Ram would have had to do a LOT more to move the needle for me personally.

I am glad the TRX is back and maybe an option a few years down the road, but as mentioned when modded and paid off I don't see any real benefit to make the switch anytime soon.

To piss you off Rick, specifically.

Just wanted something new and with a warranty. Mine expires in February. I have till tomorrow to lock in the 10yr/10k mile on the RHO. I still might. If I change my mind all I lose is $1k.

Context: had a Gen 2 Raptor before TRX and didn’t hate it.
🤣🤣 I dont blame you on the warranty front. Ive already cashed in on my extended for about $10k worth of shit. So glad i sprung for that. When that runs out tho Im fu@ked!

I’m on the fence about ordering the new ’27. My ’22 TRX, which I special ordered, just rolled over 19,000 miles and is fully paid off, which makes the decision a lot tougher. I’d likely have to finance the difference, and I’m not sure massaging seats and an extra 75 horsepower are enough to justify the switch. If they end up offering a 10-year/100k-mile warranty on the new truck, that might sway me a bit more.

I have the extended warranty for 7yr/75K mile bumper to bumper. That buys me a couple more years from now. Now I’m wishing I’d have looked into a 10yr/100K warranty. A new TRX just isn’t in the budget.

I have 60k on my L2 2022 so I’d look to move mine depending on pricing. Would love to go down to Granger again and bring home a new one.

I'd love a return to Granger too! 🦖Memories and 'Smiles Per Mile' that exceed all past vehicles, including sport bikes, even past Patrol cars.

Fall of 21' - couple minutes of curiosity online led me to this site and Granger mention. Offering $9k BELOW MSRP. When metro-Phoenix was $10-20k+ over sticker at the time - made a $1k deposit and order the next morning. LOVED following a forum member's thread noting the status of our factory orders too - akin to seeing first baby pregnancy sonograms! LOL

Memories began with a 3k roundtrip from Phoenix.. trading my CTD2500 to Granger for $1k more than offered here - bringing home the factory ordered/price locked Lvl 2 2022 TRX. Brought my 5yr old Son, took longer to swap out his car seat and luggage than the seamless paperwork and experience. The next morning rolling down the OK City ramp onto I-40 hitting 90+ having completed the tortuous break-in 500 miles the day prior!

Days later in Phoenix - stopping late at night on a desolate neighboring freeway, homebound from a date night with my Wife. Launching our TRX - her first spontaneous utterance was "...this is such an asshole truck! It's PERFECT FOR YOU!!!" :ROFLMAO: 🦖 ❤️

From what I’ve read today:
-Standard Orange block with the familiar 2.4L blower
-red eye valve train allowing 6500rpm redline
-revised airbox to take advantage of the higher RPM capability
-(most likely a small pully/boost bump to make up the rest) tbc at the moment…

As long as it doesn’t pass 14psi, I’m good with it. Those IHI blower bearings were at redline at 14psi & 6100rpm on the previous 2.4L unit.

I can see them getting to 777hp with the above items. But I REALLY would have loved the additional oiling, and 2.7l blower from a full red eye powertrain.

Dream truck 👆🏽

So does the driveshaft have a grease zerk? lmao
Bro, why are you talking so loudly? Everything's fine with the drive dust cover, haha.

Doesn't seem like enough to sway the needle to me, particularly for the power gains. I also am not a fan of the digital gauge cluster, and adding more screen to the already glitchy uConnect 12" display isn't enticing either. I too, wish they would have done the full Demon/Redeye upgrades with this new re-launch, and also offer a 37" tire package.

Seems like the frame/suspension are completely carryover and unchanged though?

Also, I noticed on the Ram website when you click on the "Play Engine Sound button" it is absolutely NOT the sound of a Hemi, and definitely sounds like the Hurricane 6 RHO. That was definitely a mistake by whoever made the webpage.

Probably the same clowns that screwed up the Uconnect updates 😂

What about the SRT brand emblems from the AliExpress website? Didn't they tempt you? :ROFLMAO:

I will be shocked if it's anything other than severe disappointment. It's the only thing CDJR has consistently given us the past few years.
Although not severe, I stand by my statement. They gave us a few crumbs with the small horsepower gain but other than that it does not move the needle at all. Don’t get me started on the RHO body styling these will carryover.

The drive modes button looked so good with the TRX emblem...looks cheap now.
Dont like the dino head emblem either. SRT with a clean TRX would have looked much better.
Noodle skinny steering wheel also could have been changed

There are still about a zillion questions driveshaft clunk, cv`s, radiator. shocks leaking, touchscreen issues, blower bearings, intercooler leaks, water leaks with rear window, locker in the front, swaybar disconnects, better exhaust, stronger front diff assembly ect ect ect you dont just add power and pray it all goes away. Oh and the stitching color for sure should match the exterior color or at the very least do all black leather interior, And dont even get me started on the security they have now

If someone doesn't already own a TRX or a Raptor R, I think the new TRX is great. For anyone that already does, this is just meh. No factory 37 option, same shocks (even if they say they're v2 tuning), out of place red accents that make the green model look like a Christmas tree, and nearly identical interior that's been in place since the original TRX.
