Ram TRX returns Q1 2026

The blood Red truck is a real classic two tone paint truck with splash graphics on it.
Wonder if they are bringing back some of the classic two tone paint schemes on other trucks from the 1970s-1i990s. I thought the red might have been part of the wrap / sticker package, but they said in one of the videos I watched that it was paint.

No wench , looks sort of like it had 20s on it, making me think it’s a cross between the gas PW and the diesel Rebel. A few more of the PW tech bits, riding on the Rebel chassis/suspension?

I caught it , just didn’t fix it fast enough. Lol 😝
A good wench option would be a must have sort feature . lol 😂

Will miss the granite metalic but the dark blue will work out fine!

So glad Ram continued the TRX evolution without copying the Ford boys. Gayness + slower + lower top speed + lower speed rated rubber = 37” tires.

I am sure it was unintentional, but all of the “correcting history” and such talks really make it sound like the RHO was the byproduct of bad choices and necessity.

Almost like you are the red headed step child. Wonder if they will build them alongside or the RHO will die?

Sounds like ETA for first deliveries on these 2027 TRX trucks is looking like August.
I am curious when the order bank for it is going to be open.

I ordered my 21 TRX day 1 that the order bank open back in Aug 2020.
I would like to order one of these new 27s on day one as well.

The RHO was definitely a byproduct of bad choices by Tavares. However, I bet the RHO continues alongside the TRX. The V6 Raptor hasn't died since the release of the R. As a matter of fact, I still see at least a 20:1 ratio of V6 Raptors to R's. I've only seen one RHO, but based on social media content, it seems the RHO is selling pretty well. Maybe @Eighty has access to production #'s.

The added horsepower is nice, but it's essentially the same truck with downgraded RHO bumpers. It's a great option for first-time buyers, but as a current owner, it doesn't offer enough to make me want to trade in my truck.

I want to know if they’ll limit production numbers on the trx since they have the rho to make it more unobtainable like the Raptor r, and because they’re releasing so many new trucks.

I'm interested in hearing what new components are in this new hellcat. Tim Kuniskis was quoted saying it had some components from the redeye and a new intake.

Hoping to snag that new intake and a direct connect tune while my warranty is still in place.

Edit:

Looks like potentially a redeye valvetrain and increased redline.

They're getting pretty close to the Redeye power numbers, at least on paper, so maybe 777 is as high as they feel comfortable with while still using the basic Hellcat bottom end? Especially since the TRX is not exactly light.

Dropping in a slightly detuned Redeye would be a safer bet.

Whats with all the gay badges, like going to pepboys and buying everyone they can find to stick on the truck
The goofy trex head cheapens the truck. Rip that off, get rid of the red on the Ram on the grill, and that will partially offset the softer look of the RHO parts.

From what I have been seeing and hearing in these recent press releases this morning, the TRX is not going to be limited, sounded like they would build as many as people wanted to buy.

I suspect if something like that does happen the Raptor R dealer premiums that have been pushing them to sell in the $120k-$130k range would surely come to an end , and with the relaxing of federal regulations, why would ford want to limit production. I could see Ford dropping there prices a bit on the Raptor R.

It’s going to be interesting to see how all this plays out in the market.

I read in a few sites the blower is the same 2.4L.
I don't see where the redeye stuff could be coming from. The Bilstein suspension is a new Gen so there could be some improvements but looking at it I didn't see shit that looked different.

Passenger side ditched the RHO screen which was useless anyways.
It almost looks like RAM copied trucks from this forum for the 2026 model. They placed the SRT badge exactly at the same spot some here did in the front grill, dino head basically same on the badge...
Nonetheless its awesome to see RAM alive again listening to what owners wanted and poking back at FURD engaging on the truck wars again.
I assume the R will have the unmatched packages with Whipple that bring 250hp easily and RAM hopefully responds with other engines making us all happy.

Again I will say this. For existing TRX owners, not worth it yet. Your truck must be close to out of warranty. Go mod your truck and enjoy 800+hp for $10k and wait to get another TRX in 2027 or 2028. I bet RAM will come out with bigger surprises then. For what's out now its essentially the same truck and good luck with dealers wanting your soul with ADMs

I completely agree with you, but I don't have anything to change my mind about.

I could be wrong but the block looks painted red in “the straight pipes” YouTube channels video

TRX Forum Favs 👍
