My 2012 Power Wagon was really a better truck for my uses when off road. Front/Rear lockers, disconnecting sway bar, and a winch. It wasn’t a rocket ship, but for a 5.7L HD truck with 4.56 gears it did ok. Throw 700hp at that same truck and it would be quick enough. Not TRX fast, but I bet it would still do 0-60 in under 5 seconds.

I mean I read that line as either it’s a hellcat power wagon. Which seams unlikely. Although ford does have their Shelby f250 Baja. Or they are releasing the street truck and bringing back the trx in the same reveal. With say the trx towing the street truck through the desert or something. It says outrun hell. So maybe a demon engine street truck. Out running hell as in faster than a hellcat. But the other quote is “this isn’t a return it’s a reckoning” so I also see that as it’s not just a 6.2 hellcat trx it’s something else so maybe demon powered trx. Which I once thought was a zero percent chance.
Very interesting. I’m still leaving a lot of space for a letdown as usual.

Been saying this since way back when the 1st whispers of the original TRX started surfacing and while you're right about the PW being better for most uses... I will NEVER buy another 2500 until Ram stops fecking around with the 4.5 Gen and gives the 2500 a true 5th Gen cab.

That would be a rocket! Personally, I’d like a single cab version with some version of the Hellcat engine. Remember the old SRT10? V10 in a lowered single or quad cab. My uncle had the quad cab and scared the shit out of me in it lol.

The HD cab is fine for me. It’s just the wife and I, and the back seat in my 2012 never seemed small. I’d happily trade a little interior space for a 6.5ft truck bed.

Can’t wait to see where they price it (and am sure the dealers will charge a mark up) and if you can pick the options. Remember the 24 TRX (only came loaded) was $120k before dealer mark ups. I know the Durango and other rams have seen a slight price cut but nothing too significant. I guess we will know more January 1.

I got ahold of a document that lists out the next 3 years product releases from the 392 Wrangler to of course our beloved Ram TRX. If you look at the snippet below, based on the wording, I believe they'll put the same 6.2L Supercharged Hemi it. Not to say there won't be a Redeye option later but for now things are moving so fast, they just need to get their halo truck back in the market.

Based on the dealer email that leaked a couple months ago, the TRX was hinted to come back with more power. One option I believe they'll do is use the DC Hellcat Stage 1 kit with would bump the HP up to 757 (More than likely 752 because of the intake hp loss). That would give the TRX more power and beat out the Raptor R's 720hp
