Radio Reset Directions for model year 2022-2024 Ram trucks

Hi everyone,

We wanted to start a thread for any of you that may be experiencing an intermittent blank screen on certain radios (sales code UAA, size 5.0'). To avoid an unnecessary radio replacement, try resetting the radio by pressing and hold the volume/power button for 10 seconds until the radio resets. This reset should work for model years 2022-2024.

We would be happy to check sales codes for you or provide any other info we can if you have questions. This direction is also available to your dealerships, again in an effort to not replace radios if it is not needed.

While we appreciate you reaching out about an issue to help others, no TRX ever had the 5" screen. They were all larger screens.

Their post didn’t reference the 5” radio screen. It referenced the 5-FOOT screen.
That was an upgrade option in the Level 3 package that nobody bought.

You're right, a fix is coming soon. This just arrived today.

Regardless of the screen size, holding the volume/power button reboots the UConnect. I should know, as mine freezes on every drive, often stuck making a horrible buzzing noise through the speakers. I reboot every drive. Needless to say, I'm anxiously awaiting the fix in July.
