PSA: Go, right now, and seat all fuses and relays

I finally found something wrong with my TRX. About half of the inside fuses weren’t fully seated. Everything was working ok so it wasn’t a problem yet

I just checked all of mine and they are all properly seated

Finally got around to checking mine both places. Under the dash i found a few loose but under the hood 75% weren’t properly seated.

My cameras are back on now. Been waiting two weeks for a new module to come in from the dealer. Just called him and told him that it was the fuses. Half of them were loose. Thank you for the heads up.

Am i the only one with a 2021 ram trx that had the true neutral cable running down to the tranny just dangling hitting the drive shaft making an annoying clicking noise at take off i was under there running my train horn harness that i made and sure enough the two clips weren’t seated into the designated brackets making the cable on the inside click and flap as the driveshaft turned Oh and the remote works when it wants to even the handles and when i’m in truck and keys in my pocket i need to put the key up to the button to start it

Just a PSA #1: Everyone, lift the hood, remove the fuse box cover, and seat all your fuses and relays. Don’t know why, but whomever is responsible for Jeep and Ram PDU assembly, they can’t seem to install the fuses and relays correctly.

PSA #2: Under your steering wheel is an access panel. Behind that access panel is the under dash fusebox. Those fuses are more than likely not completely seated either. Just need a 7mm socket to remove the access cover and avoid potential electrical issues.

Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes to prevent potential future electrical problems.View attachment 15005
Good call. I picked mine up a month ago. Over half the fuses under the hood were not fully seated. Really appreciate the heads up! Hey, RAM got these out in bad times - we've got their back.

Good call...some of my relays were at angles just barely engaged..
Thank you for the heads up...

Thanks for this. Only 2 or 3 of my fuses across both boxes were properly engaged. Some worse than others, wonder if this explains the "service active suspension" error I'd get randomly when hitting sharp bumps on the street.

Same. Almost every one of my fuses and relays was NOT properly seated.

Under hood all were fine, maybe cause dealership installed lights on rambar. Under steering wheel maybe half were only partly seated. Crazy. Thanks so much for heads up!!

Just a note -- this didn't address my "service active suspension" error. Guess it's going to the dealer.

Approximately half were not seated on mine. Thank you for the notice to check this!

about a third of mine were not seated completely. Very much thank you for the advice

Same here. Just checked and most were not seated properly. Great heads up by OP, thanks!

Thank you for this thread, more than half of mine weren’t seated 🙄.

Well Kiss A Fat Mans Ass..... The quality control or lack of it on display again. Glad folks post this kind of stuff! It is not pretty the reputation the TRX is getting with respect to build quality and it will believe me impact resale down the road. Do not know if a machine populates this box or it is a human but almost all of my fuses were not seated and all of the relays not one was seated all the way, one so far out it was canted a little toward the cab!

What a mess. Now I want to check every single thing with a TQ wrench.

THIS SHOULD BE A STICKY!
I hate to worry you even more, but here is a short story that supports your thoughts of checking the TQ

While preparing to add a crank pulley and pin it on my TRX this weekend. As I was reading through the instructions and watching some videos before I started I noticed that it was taking some guys a 3' breaker bar and a lot of force to remove the factory crank bolt (mostly on Challengers and Chargers, but still same platform). When I went to remove mine I had an 18" breaker bar and the crank bolt came loose with a firm tug on it, not much effort as I was expecting from the videos. Not to mention the fact that the TQ specs use to be 239 ft lbs and is now been updated to 148 ft lbs + 150 degress, which is close to the same. New bolt has an expansion joint/mark on the end as well as an updated part/bolt (OEM).

Long story short, I have a lot of concern as I start adding mods to the TRX / 6.2L Hellcat engine and drivetrain.

Love the truck, but never hurts to double check some things as you maintain and mod these beast. I will deffinetly be checking my fuse panel after this thread!

Thanks for the info everyone!
