God I really don’t like Sarah... haha. not for nothing but FCA chat hasn’t necessarily been reliable... That’s not to say that it’s not true. As I’ve said before if they have production line probs I’d rather wait to get them fixed now vs when we get a recall.

Good point, because there will probably be a recall at some point...hopefully not as bad as the frame issues on the JL...I would rather that they have the parts and stuff available...would be even worse to get my truck only to have to take it back for a recall and wait 2 months for parts to come in so I can drive it...i would be very sad

I am about 14 months out from when I ordered my C8 and they are having the same issue. Parts from Canada specifically are in short supply due to manufacturing restrictions so GM has been shutting down the plants routinely to let suppliers catch up. Other countries are also delayed in part manufacturing ad mainly delivery to US plants so not surprised Ram is having the same issue as well. I waited 14 months for C8 and will be getting a 2020 in December at this point but definitely wont wait 14 months for the TRX. Hopefully Ram prioritizes TRX over other trims as the profit margin is much higher since most of us are paying MSRP at a minimum.

That seems crazy to me that you'd NOT be upgraded to a 2021 since you've lost an entire year+ of depreciation...

At this point, I wouldn't mind that because after all this time, I wouldn't even get my exact build. They ran out of painted engine covers, carbon fiber 5VM package, and high wing so I will get mine without those options anyways. My dealer said only thing I could do is cancel my order and get back in line for a 2021 which is all sold out or just take the 2020 they will make. At this point I am just a plastic bag in the wind haha. Wherever GM takes me.

On the bright side Ram would really really have to mess things up to make the TRX ordering experience worse then my GM adventures.

For what it’s worth, my dealer called this week and asked me how much I cared about carbon fiber and bead lock wheels. Said changing those 2 options could keep my date Jan to early Feb. otherwise might kick to Feb to early March. Keep in mind my date expectation was always Jan based on when I ordered. I only bring it up, because it seems like the carbon fiber and bead lock wheels might be a constraint.

I waited 15 months for my C8 but got it 3 weeks ago. You will love it. Well balanced and more stable feeling in the road compared to the front engine predecessor. But that long wait and numerous delays took the thrill out of the buy and the only reason I kept my order is the current value is higher than I paid for it.

Share a picture and feed my soul lol. I do agree that if the ordering process is not good, it kills the fun of getting the car/truck. Glad to hear you are liking it.

true , ordered myC8 in April . Now bumped to 2021 they are saying feb delivery . have money down on the first Z06 at my dealer , so much more waiting.
