Just found this.... don’t exactly know what it means for the TRX...but seems there are some problems getting parts for certain 1500’s.. Hopefully someone can translate what this means if anything. The long wait.......
good god...we will never get our trucks....tech group? Pano roof? what a shit show! I sincerely hope Ram can get it together before I lose interest in this....supply and demand is a topic that an organization the size of Ram should have figured out a long time ago...Just found this.... don’t exactly know what it means for the TRX...but seems there are some problems getting parts for certain 1500’s.. Yes, it seems you shouldn't go on the big reveal if you don't have a plan for efficiently securing the parts!good god...we will never get our trucks....tech group? Pano roof? what a shit show! Well, the joke is on them then. I care if I take my truck and I am going to take it. Nothing they do can stop me from giving them my hard earned money. Oh, they can delay, they can hide updates from me, they can beg, but they will take every dollar, like it or not.I hope people at FCA are reading these threads and laughing their asses off at how nutted up we get over something we know absolutely nothing about....
Reality is no one except FCA knows if they are going to build 1 truck next week or 500....
FCA....your dealer... nor your salesperson cares if you take the truck or don't take it....they will sell everyone they build....hahahaha
i was wondering the same thing. that supposedly was published 9/25/2020-orders for non LE trx had opened up the monday prior, 9/21/2020-maybe, just maybe, parts were being allocated to trx models. That would explain the plethera of D status trucks, which according to FCA, means parts are available and allocated. i dont see anything specific to TRX models on that sheet as well. if 10-12 weeks holds true for all rams (including trx) that would put the first orders being delivered or ready second week of dec....which, goes along with rumored statements of some people having them by christmas. fingers crossedSo... possibly... could this mean that these 1500s are showing constraints because those parts are being shifted/directed to the TRXs instead? Maybe? Possibly?
I might as well order/buy a 3500 so I can at least get the trailer I really want.
I believe non LE orders began on 8/24, at least mine was. FCA stated that the first build would be 10/12. I hope you are right and I hope that they did start production even if limited on the 12th. No one seems to know for sure if they have or haven’t started customer orders. I hope like hell they have but I’m also sure that there will be delays. I can wait as impatiently as well as all of us. Cheers ?i was wondering the same thing. that supposedly was published 9/25/2020-orders for non LE trx had opened up the monday prior, 9/21/2020-maybe, just maybe, parts were being allocated to trx models. Well, according to "Sarah" at FCA at the first of this week, customer production had not started yet...I believe non LE orders began on 8/24, at least mine was. God I really don’t like Sarah... haha. not for nothing but FCA chat hasn’t necessarily been reliable... That’s not to say that it’s not true. As I’ve said before if they have production line probs I’d rather wait to get them fixed now vs when we get a recall.Well, according to "Sarah" at FCA at the first of this week, customer production had not started yet...
