DEAL PRICE PROTECTED - KOONS 10K OFF MSRP OR 11% Below MSRP - NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED!!

Only for CA and MA, according to a post from Koons on a previous thread. apparently it's near impossible to get registered there.

It is very difficult for an out of state dealer to register here in MA....I buy most of my vehicles out of state and I wind up doing it myself after the dealer tries and fails....

I bought a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Craig at Koons in 2016 via a similar deal advertised at jeepgarage.com. It was a great experience. Easiest car I have ever purchased. I recently ordered a TRX from them and have no worries that it will be the same great experience.

Couple of things:

We have created an email address for order status on your TRX - [email protected]

We have hired an addition team member to assist with the Forums. We are still in the training phase but this will help with turnaround. Although Craig has been doing the forums for 7 years, it's become too big for one person and we are expanding the department.

If questions or concerns arise during the process please email [email protected] (ME). I am the New Car Director and the originator of the Koons Group Buy. I am also handling the order status for the time being.

Remember, there are many many of you and very few of us. We want to continue to grow and honor the forum deals but please realize we are moving as fast as we can. There are a lot of moving parts to complete the purchase. Especially if you are completing the transaction remotely.
Glad to see you here Erica! After speaking with you the few times I did and helping me with my tags which wasn't quite your responsibility, Im thrilled to see you taking on this part of the process!

Beacon title and registration company they use has awful reviews. Not sure why owners stick with that NJ based company.

is this 11% off deal only for 2022 models or can place order for 2023.

Yes, that's correct. We tag, title and register for the state you live in.
For Ca, you need to get a Vin verification and smog certificate in California, before the DMV will register your car, even if it is a “50 state” emission verified car. Sales tax is paid in the state you bought it. Registration is paid when turning in the paperwork to the DMV. You can use an independent Vin verifier for a small charge to handle all the paperwork or the DMV does it at no charge.

I just recently went through this while purchasing a Cadillac CT 4V Blackwing in Nevada and having to register it in California. It was no big deal… just a few extra hoops to jump through..

That may be the case but I didn't speak to Beacon, I spoke to the ladies in house at Koons and they were awesome to deal with. I blasted my experience but highlighted the good, Erica was one of them.

you never speak with Beacon but they handle their title and registration. The never talk to you but you pay a convenience fee for the inconvenience of using them.

If we are in California and want to register it here, we can't purchase one? I saw it mentioned early in this thread, but just want to make sure. Thanks

Thanks to Craig at Koons. Just sent the configuration confirmation back and looking forward to the Black Diamond Level I package with:
- Panoramic roof
- HK stereo
- Running boards
- Tonneau cover
I think that’s about what I really NEED. Level II has some want-to’s, but these trucks aren’t cheap (though, I still argue they are a value, albeit expensive!).

This board has been very informative and appreciate all the info!!!

Ordered a loaded 3500 HO Cummins Laramie from Craig the beginning of this month (already have a LE TRX). Was really a painless transaction. Send him your build and he gets right back to you with everything you need. He is on top of everything and responds quickly with any questions you may have!

I placed my order with Craig on 2/15 under the advertised deal, received a POC and VON, and now awaiting a VIN. I asked him a ton of questions, 28 emails back and forth, and was very satisfied with the responses. If you're looking for a great deal on your TRX purchase, I would highly recommend Koons.

I can't say I'm 100% confident about the order without having to put in a deposit, but will feel better once a VIN is assigned.

If you're relatively new to the forums, or to the process of placing a factory order I would recommend doing some research to find out every question you need to ask, and put all of them in your initial email to Koons. I imagine the volume of email traffic they are getting is probably cause for a delayed response, if you do what I did and think of more and more questions throughout the process, you'll drag things out a few days.

I made a couple of mistakes along the way, including signing a build invoice that used the 10k off MSRP instead of the 11%, which would have been a few hundred dollars better, but I've asked Craig about that and the VIN and expect a response today.

Congratulations on your order! I to have an order with koons placed in November. You can go to ram chat and if you give them the von they will tell you your vin.
