PPF

I got quoted 7k for Suntek Ultra matte on the whole truck, no ceramic.

Anyone seen XPEL STEALTH PPF? Got Diamond Black TRX coming...debating wrapping the whole truck in Stealth...gives it an almost matte/flat finish.

Any input? Anyone seen it in person? Thanks in advance.

Here's exactly what you're looking for.

Anyone have any Xpel recs for the Houston area? Also, anyone have any thoughts on the adding the stealth to the bright white? I read a number of posts on the Tesla forum that state the the stealth matte white looks amazing but that it is not as good as when you put on a color, such as black, blue, etc.

I personally like the stealth. Only thing is you need a good installer that basically takes your truck apart to get everything tucked. Also normally the jams cost extra. The guy I use worked in a body shop before opening his business. The stealth doesn’t look like the matte paint you see. Its a satin

Guys with their actual TRX’s, what areas do you see as the critical areas to PPF besides the front nose?

Has anyone had the fender flairs, front grill, bumpers wrapped? It the entire exterior wrapped possible?

Was wondering if it would adhere rubber/plastics and some wrap materials dont stretch as well as others, thus all those curves.

I'm getting everything but the roof wrapped. My experience with my last truck tells me that the sides and tailgate are vulnerable to scratches.

You wouldn’t ppf the plastic parts. Anything painted a good shop can do. Yes a full coverage ppf is possible. If you want the jams done make sure to ask for them. It’s typically additional cost in my experience.

also ppf is much thicker relative to vinyl so it protects better but more challenging to get right

Quoted whole truck except tail gate for 5500, no ceramic. Seems like a new paint job like in another thread. Decisions decisions.

I had the full hood, full front fenders, full rear fenders, full rocker panels, headlights, foglights, A-Pillars, and section above the windshield back to the sunroof for $2K. I plan to ceramic coat the whole truck inside and out next month for another $2k.

I just set an appointment today for the rocker panels...about $660.
