Pano Sunroof Option

So I just called Denver Autoshield who I used for my XPEL tint and asked them if anything has changed since I was in. Todd explained that there is a small chance and that it's a personal choice of the shop not to do it and not so much that it can't be done.

So my apologies for the earlier post as it was explained to me much differently when I requested for the pano to be tinted. Guess my business goes elsewhere.

Love my sunroof, when you open the back slider it creates the perfect ambient wind tunnel. In the summer even though it is 100 out in Texas, it works great! Plenary of fresh air and at 80mph with all the windows down it fees pretty nice 😊

My last Dodge granted it was an 06 had constant leaking issues with the sunroof, I live where it rains a lot so was not going to mess with the sunroof. Would like to have it but not worth the issues where it rains a lot

I decided against a sunroof on my 23 build. It's something I have on my vehicles now and rarely use. I also figure it's one less thing to hold up the build. :)

Here are some other good threads on the subject to check out:

I thought the same thing, ordered a Lvl2 with no pano and mine still took 10 months to build... I'm almost convinced that since it was a rarer combo that it got deprioritized :(

Not a sunroof fan, so no pano here.

After reviewing all the responses here and contacting the service departments/advisors at two RAM dealerships regarding the reliability of the sunroof, I'm going ahead and adding it to the build. It appears that the addition of the sunroof may speed up the build date on the truck as those orders with sunroofs seem to be moving ahead faster than those orders without. Thanks for everyone's input.

I love mine. Great when showing off the TRX. Second only to the performance stuff on the screen. We open it in the evening. And really like the vent open when the weather permits. I take mine through a touchless car wash. Last time I left the screen open and the soap poured in with a foul smell--almost took me out--couldn't roll down the windows or get out so I just started the truck and turned on the air conditioning. What problems we have here in America.

I ordered mine with a sunroof. I don’t get a vehicle without one.

No issues with mine, it's nice to have the shade open to let light in being the interior is a black hole for most part. I do wish that the vent position would tilt the glass further out.

i like the extra light inside the cab when the shade is open day or night, but i rarely open the roof itself when running coz im afraid something big might get caught in that net screen insect trap thingymabobber. first time ive seen this on a sunroof.

I ordered my 1st level 2 without one. On this 2nd truck I ordered it really because I wanted the Carbon Fiber so I just just went ahead and got the Pano too just to make sure I got everything I wanted this time. The weird bug catcher thing has caught a damn swarm of shit so far because I keep opening it at night. It’s the only small issue so far but it’s kinda annoying, not sure how I’m going to clean it and how often lol.

exactly why i almost never open my sunroof when driving.. i dont want to deal with cleaning that insect trap😂🤣

I used the Pano in my 2020 Raptor less than ten times while I owned it, and it was already starting to rattle. Because of that I specifically ordered my TRX without one.
I am as sorry for you, as I am for myself. The gen 3 raptor gave nothing but headaches.
Both of my TRXs have pano. Not 1 complain so far.

I just ordered a 23 with everything but the sunroof. Aside from getting $10k off MSRP, being able to get a fully loaded truck WITHOUT a sunroof was the most appealing thing about doing a factory order.

I went ahead and did a change order exchanging the pano for the originally ordered beadlock wheels to stay over the $100K MSRP on my build and to get the $11,000 off at Mark Dodge. It's a nice and quite popular option and I hope, as it appears in the majority of the responses I have seen here on the forum, that it does not give me any problems.
