TBH Android Auto is trash on Android Automotive based infotainment so you can't put too much blame on RAM for this.

Well yes so is apple auto but I don't use any of them. How can Uconnect 4 in our Durango 392 be Fullscreen but not on Uconnect 5? Don't tell me because it is landscape. The problem is Uconnect not Android.

I don't know. I use apple devices across a wide array of vehicles without issue. I just hear of the android problems via forums, reviews etc.

I have a MY21 trx and it gets updated manually at the dealership thankfully but about a month ago my text message alerts stopped working in the truck/infotainment. None of the techs could figure it out. My truck was updated awhile back, any chance that issue is linked to this update bullshit you guys are experiencing??

There’s a TSB to update the 2025s to 35.26 due to issues with lumbar controls. On our trucks…all I can say for sure is that it ain’t gonna fix the TRX-specific problems they created for everyone here.

I've used Android Auto in a few vehicles with no issues and in full screen. This is a UConnect problem.

@RamCares I would get on this, people are loosing features that were part of their purchase. Not a good look for a company trying to gain back consumer trust!

Remember back when we were talking about the performance pages expiring? And then ram cares said that no it overrides the five years? Look what I just found on the Mopar website.

Interesting, I wonder how this will play out. If they don't fix the trucks and fast I'd say all effected sue them. They essentially stole 100k from you if they trash your rig via update. The timing with the re-release of the TRX is also very suspicious. Wonder if the plan was to mess up current owners rides though the software. Then they will offer a shit trade saying they are helping you to get you in the new TRX. Then all they do is plug your old one in fix it and bam sell for full price. Think this was their goal to get original owners stuck in a situation as the truck is basically worthless if it's software is screwed. They offer jack but its more than you could get yourself, if you get the new one and they basically get a half price trade TRX to sell at max. Here is an idea ram just sell good products stop with the games. If you want us to buy the new TRX trucks very simple put the DC1500 in there and get it to us for 110k or less. Think they fully get we have no need to buy the same truck. They will have to step it up to get previous TRX owners or what might be happening trash our electronics forcing a trade! Ram do not do the second one it will end bad!

I think I remember seeing this. Makes it sound like they are going to a prescription service where we have to pay to use features that came on our trucks. Kind of like BMW charging to use heated seats, etc after a trial period.

They aren't going to fix it. There is no way to differentiate the programming between the RHO and TRX. That's why TRX's got the RHO update. What a coincidence that it happened just before the new TRX is released

Yeah not they way you get repeat sales Ram this is souring alot of potential buyers. I too find it strange they announce the return of the King, a new TRX and the ones already out there got a update that fucked them.

Looks like TRX is not going to update to 35.26 like the regular 1500’s are (mis-typed as 35.36 in the TSB).

Well I sure hope they're going to fix the rest of the problems and not just the stupid picture. Shows a turbo boost gauge instead.
Missing IC temp, Air fuel ratio, and boost gauges sometimes.
Mode pic wrong.
Propulsion page torque horsepower max reading is wrong.
TRX button sometimes doesn't work.
Auto mode setup trans wrong.
