I decided to lower the spare so my fat fingers and arms could fit and get everything cable tied down.

Very nice! It is definitely dealers choice on dropping the spare. I never did but after moving my spare in the bed it was way nicer working in that area.

This one seems to be the in-line 7 pin harness which is auto run. So, all 3 lights will illuminate dim red when taillights are on. All 3 will illuminate white when shifting into reverse. When the brakes are pressed, do all 3 brighten, or just the hitch one in the center? Does the one in the center flash 3 times before staying constant bright or does it just turn on bright?

Is there an add-on relay to tap this kit into an Aux switch to turn all 3 on with white light without having to shift into reverse?

Is there also an option with just the two pods in the tow hook area that will illuminate with tails as dim red, turn white with reverse, brighten with brakes, and turn on white with an Aux switch? I might pass on getting the hitch one if this is possible. Thank you.

The kit above is just the two lights in the tow hooks. It flashes when brakes are first applied, then goes bright red. It is a dimmer red matching the intensity of the taillight when the taillights are on and bright white light when in reverse. We currently don’t have an option for the brake light kits to work on the auxiliary switch. There may be a way to purchase the reverse light harness and modify the plug and play harness in the kit above to work with it so the auxiliary switches will work with that kit. I’ll have to ponder that.

Not to hijack the thread but since I installed my reverse lights in my new bumper, I am no longer using my S&G tow hook brackets. I absolutely love them, shoot my a PM with an offer price if anyone wants them. Of course , they are much dirtier than the pictures because...they live under a

Not yet. We will eventually get to 2500s. We have access to several and have done custom jobs on many but haven’t done any production stuff for the 2500 yet.

Well as soon as you guys figure it out I’m in for an order. I was trying to see if anyone has a plate that fits into the hitch that I can rig this kit to. Reversing isn’t the same as the Trx, but I still love my 2500.

That is a high probability. I am working with Diode Dynamics to produce such a kit. It shouldn't take much as a lot of the R&D has been done already. It would be a plug and play kit.

In for this, diode has great stuff. They’ve been killing it recently. I’d love like an amber pod running light that swaps to fog when you hit the fogs.
