The optics are amazing... Makes a crappy offhand 45 shooter like me into a pretty good shooter, especially with my handloads.

I buy rounds in bulk, getting them by the case and comes out to about $4 a round for the 50
Fall just seems to work out better for our (family) Calendar. We got up on Saturday and usually drive back home late after the infamous night shoot (7-9pm-ish).

You can get a 408 for less than one of my 50’s. A Desert Tech HTI for example is around $7500 and the M300 Praetorian in either caliber is $7000ish. Gotta pay to play I guess. I was a 50 cal gunner so I am biased.At least it's cheaper than a 375 Cheytac or 408 Cheytac.. LOL.. I'll take one of each please!!

I buy in bulk as well. I started keeping most of it in ammo cans back in 2020 for the most part. I keep a few thousand of these calibers in their boxes where I store my guns and then I have probably 1-1.5k rounds of 5.56 loaded in mags in a safe with some of the ARs. I have the loose stuff packed in these cans with desiccant packets. I have a dehumidifier running in this area of the basement so it stays at 35% humidity year round. My wife thinks I'm insane. lol
