Finally got my Cloud Defensive set up mounted on the SMG-45. This is a later run so no issues with it at all and love this thing! If I wasn't in Illinois would be my truck gun in a second.

Absolutely! For now it doesn't leave the safe unless it's a private rental at one of the ranges or out of state on private property. Sucks but until they change it I can't really have much fun with it.

Got wall 1 of 3 done. Went with Hold up Display for this one to see how it was and pretty solid unit. Easy to mount and had a great deal going so got some extra stuff for free.

It looks awesome but watch wood slat wall it breaks with too much weight. They sell metal insert strips that you can use it helps distribute the weight better. Slat wall makes a great add on for building displays.

Definitely tried to distribute it best I could and saved some of heavier ones for next wall. I will say with those 6 screws per panel on the studs is pretty darn solid.

I am in the middle of the same but room lol. Started moving stuff back in and about 1/3 of the way done I think. I have 4 of the vertical racks to put in still and the other stuff. Picked up another 50 BMG, this one is the Steyr HS 50-M1.

I have the aluminum inserts in mine, definitely the best route to go. I can put 2 hooks in and hang on it.

I am in the middle of the same but room lol. Started moving stuff back in and about 1/3 of the way done I think. I have 4 of the vertical racks to put in still and the other stuff. Picked up another 50 BMG, this one is the Steyr HS 50-M1.

That's unreal. Maybe eventually when I move out of this damn state I can start up again, but I am stuck till kids head off to school.

My problem was without the metal inserts the actual slats broke. They can only handle about 35 to 40 pounds on a single slat. With the metal insets mine can do 100 pounds per slat.

Some recent pick ups.

Langdon Beretta 92 Elite Full size with their trigger job, ported barrel and NP3 parts and mags.

Friend of mine used to own an ammo company and worked with IWI supplying their test ammo and other things. They toyed around with with idea of making 939 9x39 Galil Ace's with 500 rounds of ammo. They had a few made up/converted via Krebs Customs to demo and test. Due to the 2023 attacks and other events they scrapped the project. He was thinning his collection and decided to sell to me.

Round is beefy.
9x39 on the left, 300BO in the center and 5.56 on the right.

Most recent was a B&T Hush Puppy. I never really cared about this but when teh news broke last month about BT USA I reached out to an FFL friend who was able to secure one. I'll probably sit on it for a while before shooting it incase values go up. At that point I'll most likely flip it since it's more of a novelty gun than anything else.
