New England (NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, ME)

I’m from Maine. I did my first oil change yesterday at 1200 miles, I did ask for an SRT mechanic, they took over an hour since I asked to also check my front and rear diff and all other fluids too since I saw the coolant just a hair above low mark. I have bought several trucks from the dealer I’m dealing with, and I think establishing a good relationship with good honest people will go a long way. Is this your first oil change? I have seen these special oil drain adaptors that people have discussed on here but I never took time to order them on Amazon. I guess they make it easy to drain the oil. You might want to look into those too.
Nice ZX14 pic! I have one also! Absolutely love her.

Thanks man. Sadly I sold it. It was my second 14. Bought it new last year and sold with 306 miles on the odo. My wife gave birth to our baby boy and all spare time we were dedicating to him.

I see by your profile pic, you are a fan of speed and Ducati. I hear they are fun. I bet In a year or two I would be buying something again, just don’t know what. Zx-14 was hard to beat - was ripping my arms out of the sockets. But I’ll probably switch it up.

Stay safe on the road!🤙🏻🍻

Sick h2 you got there too!🤩just saw the pic of it amongst your photos. If Maine roads were a little more forgiving I would probably like to try that beast out. Is the ride a lot stiffer than the 14?

Scarborough, Maine here.. I just picked up my 23 TRX on Memorial day.. Loving it so far can't wait for the 500 mile break in to be done so I can see how well she rips..

Time for an Oil Change soon:

Central 44 in Raynham was recommended here… Anybody have experience with Planet?

Do I need to request a special mechanic (I’ve heard about SRT mechanics?)

Also tempted to just do it myself… But figured I needed to establish a relationship with a local dealer at some point?

Haven't heard great things about Planet in Franklin if that's the one you are asking about.

Hello CT owners, I wanted to ask for recommendations for a service dealer (preferably east of Hartford). I got my TRX from Troiano in Colchester and, although they’re very nice, I have a feeling that mine was the first TRX they had dealt with (had them install power steps and they didn’t know they had to turn on the option on the computer, and a couple other things that I was well more versed on about TRX). So as my first oil change and possible future service needs draws near I need a good dealer that knows TRXs well. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Ran through this entire thread and didn't see any mentions of a solid dealer in South Western Ct. I live in Newtown, Ct. Purchased truck out of state @Cochran in PA. Awesome experience and wish they were close for service. Only thing I missed and noticed after checking fuses, was hood slightly off towards front bumper, passenger side. Makes it a little tough to latch. All panels have good alignment and when I looked closer, it appears that an adjustment of what I'll guess is called a bump stop with Hex screw might do the trick. Front of hood appears about 1/4" low. I'll likely leave it alone and get it addressed on first fluid dump.

Loving the truck so far. It's a beast and that whine of the supercharger is addicting.

Picture of truck @ pickup and again after returning home. Killed a lot of bugs coming back late on I-80 AND I-84.
