My order was dropped. Trying to find MSRP or less. Located in Oregon, but will travel!

I was under the impression that the system will not generate a VON number without an open allocation for the dealer.

I have a von but I’m told they didn’t have a current allocation.

There's been a couple orders cancelled from dealers not having allocations. You have to get a VON if your order is in the system.

First time I talked to RAM about my order I asked that question directly and was told “I don’t think they could put an order in if they didn’t have an allocation” but experience tells me their customer service doesn’t really have much knowledge. Would prefer that they had more knowledge than the dealerships.

I do bulk emails to dealers with the same message and build and see what they offer and take the lowest bid

Smart move. That’s how I got my Demon and two more for friends. I asked the GM “Don’t you have a list of people wanting your allocations?” His reply was “I can either go down a list of people who have expressed interest or take the money of a guy standing in front of me”. I handed him my deposit and the deal was done.

I wanted a Demon so bad but I was too late the party to get one before all the 25k ADMs

If you want round 1 allocations at this point, you’re probably going to pay above sticker. I know of one available for $15K above which is better than $30K for the LE. Or just be okay with waiting to 2021. It’s not that far away.

I'm curious to see how prices play out on these. I don't believe they're going to be like the regular trucks where you see 10K + discounts on them unless the entire auto market goes to complete crap. I'm not saying they won't discount them but I don't think it's going to be anything significant if they do and not common for until later on (I'm thinking a year or two). They'll have those special exclusions whenever they run a special that states excluding TRX models, just like the do with the Hellcats on certain sales.

Look at the Raptors vs the regular F150s. They do discount the Raptors some from time to time but nothing like the regular F150s. They're usually a pretty strong seller which still surprises me after all the years it's been around now.

As stated, my order got dropped. I've been waiting for years, had everything lined up, including a price below MSRP, my dealer did not get any allocation. There have been no updates in the forum for a bit. I will happily travel and drive the truck home. I drove my Hellcat back from Tomball, Texas. Your help is appreciated.

A.M. Maus and and sons in Kimble Minnesota will do below MSRP.

I'm not sure where you're getting that information. They do not have an allocation. I just got off the phone with them.

I think a lot of the dealers are luring folks in with "We will sell at or below MSRP" when it's nothing more than luring you in to a future sale. I've got a friend searching for a truck and he will pay $5K over sticker but like the rest of us, he wants to build it. He wants every feature you can get and I can't remember which color. My gut feeling is that there aren't many legitimate allocations left available. I might be wrong but that seems to be the case in Texas.

Dave Smith Motors is taking custom orders with no markup on MSRP. This is what I'm told, but I should be getting my order confirmed today and will post any details around timing, pricing, etc. as I learn them.

If you're interested, I recommend calling Chandler at 208-786-6084 (direct line).
