Modify 2023 order

Hi guys,

I ordered 2023 trx last month but found out I forgot to add the bed utility package which is kinda important to me. But the dealer said that the order cannot be cancelled and replaced at status d. So we request the change but still depends on ram’s response. Are there any ways I can directly reach out to ram and modify the order? I think it’s not too late since the production haven’t started?Thank you guys.

A RAM regional rep needs to modify the order. I have heard it can be very tough to get them to do that.

As long as it's not in D1 the order can be modified, if they put in the request then it's more than likely that it will be modified. The reason it may not be is if the changed parts are limited availability.

If you do as they said and put in the request it will more than likely get changed and you'll know in about a week.

If nothing else, it’s probably the easiest option to add after the fact. Get Line-X done, then buy the Mopar rails and bed step from the dealer. Might cost a few hundred more, but not the end of the world.

For what it’s worth as well, the bed rails are almost completely useless. Pretty much no OEM OR aftermarket support for accessories. So you might be better off just line-x’ing it afterwards anyways.

I decided I wanted the carbon fiber package this weekend so I emailed Granger to ask if I could order it. they submitted he request and said I should know this week if it was accepted or not. so if your dealer cares they can try, but no guarantees it will be accepted.

yea im in the same situation, hope we can get that confirmation soon

Granger just notified me my change was accepted. my sticker price is now almost 107k. thankfully $5798 of that is covered by price protection.

I decided to change my truck color and add trx side graphics this weekend. Emailed granger Monday. They are supporting the change but have to wait to see if it’s accepted by ram. Just pay the difference in the change. Will let you guys know.

Unfortunate, but I had zero luck with Koons in this department and I asked for the change to be made on Aug 26th. (Wanted red interior accents added.) I'm glad Granger is so willing to work woth their customers.

Just verify that the 'change' will not be classified as a new order or you will loose any price protection you had prior to the change...Good luck!

I did with Granger. you only pay the difference. you are price protected. They don't know if it changes my spot in line for delivery date which it totally fine with me. They were really great to work with.

it probably depends on your dealer, on mine I got a bunch of "yeah yeah yeahs" then a month later I could not get a new build sheet (they were bullshitting me) and I had to walk away from the order and do a charge back to get my "refundable" deposit back.

I ended up getting the exact truck I ordered but without bed group, and running boards (came into a different dealership & person who ordered it couldn't secure financing) I ended up doing exactly what OntheReel and AvGeek suggested above.

Just got update from Mark Dodge yesterday that it has been accepted! I also got a new POC with a 4k increase on price, makes the msrp from 106k to 110k. But the dealer told me 99% chance there is a price protection.
