Looking for something that fits well and protects the entire rear area (either seat up or down) as well as the center console. 60lb dog that sheds….

I purchased a seat cover from Amazon and my dog is occasionally anxious/stressed and barfed several times in my last Ram.

The “XL” size fits the truck perfectly and the product delivers edge to edge protection. The sides zip up to protect the doors (and in my case catch and hold vomit).

Seat belts remain accessible for kids and the whole things comes in/out in seconds and fits under the rear seat with ease when not in use.

Super impressed with the product. The orange trim had nothing to do with my selection for an Ignition Edition truck. ;)

I have two golden retrievers and have been through about 5 different covers - no questions asked the orvis one is the absolute best. Had the smaller version in my Colorado - gave that to my wife and got the bigger version for my Silverado which I’ll use in my TRX. Extremely durable and easy to clean - everything on Amazon is trash

“Everything” on Amazon is trash? That’s quite a database of testing you’ve done!

Fabric quality, stitch quality, features are all exceptional on the product I bought on Amazon (so far, at least). But it also wasn’t the cheapest product I could find. Cost about $100 CAD.

Speaking to your personal first hand experience is super valuable to other members but over-generalizations aren’t.

I ordered this one in XXL. Same manufacturer. Amazon has them available in "Amazon Warehouse" for $65.

I know this isn't what you're seeking but I thought I'd throw it out anyway...
I used to do the seat cover, blanket, hammock thing and ended up as this as the best for me. And it protects my friend better in case of an accident (better than being thrown around the cab.)

Usually it's only my German shepherd who occupies the space, but for pictures sake I threw my son's pug in there too...
Best thing...NO haircut flying!

This is how I've transported all my dogs, as well. Safer... and minimal cleanup. :)

Thanks for the idea. Unfortunately, my 15 year old has to ride in the back seat so that one or even a smaller one is a no go.

I have Orvis and the two boxes that fit between the back seat and front resulting in a large Golden Retriever lounging area. The cover is like a huge sling protecting the back seat and the back of the front seats and the console.

A great solution.

The boxes to create a big flat spot are a great idea.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback!
