Lug nut size

I installed the Driven Products black lug nuts yesterday great quality no chipped paint when removing socket excellent shipping and emails from this company. I like the look of this solid lug better than the tapered locking gorilla lugs. I also like the matte paint finishing these DP lugs have instead of a gloss black color. I recommend if on the fence about black lugs to do it makes more of a difference than I thought once I did the first wheel I stepped back and wondered like others why from the factory it came with chrome lugs on a black wheel. Thanks @JC and OKC_TRX for recommending this great product.

My brother wants to replace factory chrome lug nuts with locking chrome lug nuts. Suggestions, please. He says he only wants one locking nut on each wheel.

Have him watch a few Youtube videos on wheel lock removal without the keyed socket and tell him to change his mind. Thieves will just pound on a socket and spin them off just like he'll have to do when he inevitably loses his keyed socket.

Thank you. He doesn't want all locking lug nuts because it will be a PITA to rotate the tires. He also told me that factory security system is good enough. Regarding that, I told him to dream on. Your truck will be gone in a heartbeat.

Thanks for posting this! I just ordered these
How did you find them? I went to their site and Ram isnt in the make model list. Can you share which size you got? Thanks

They all use the same size, M14X1.50, I don't know why DP doesn't list them properly in their drop down search but I'll put the direct link below, you'll need the 24 pack for the 6 lug 1500.

or you can buy them on Amazon

Why doesn’t your brother just join the forum? I bet he would enjoy getting peoples perspectives and the info that’s available. You seem to enjoy the interaction and find the info useful, maybe he would too?

I have told him he should join but goes in one ear and out the other.

These are non locking. What about locking?

That’s funny- I was going to ask the same thing. I read your post about trying to save him money on his 22 with the dealer and then another where you said you wanted to help him save on the trade for a 23? I think…it was late when I was reading so comprehension was probably at a solid 72%. But yeah- made me wonder what’s going on with your brother? Haha. I’d assume someone driving a TRX would want to be in control of their own destiny haha. But cool that he’s got someone looking out for him.

I assumed it was something like this... :ROFLMAO:

He's really busy with work and home but I have a lot of free time. He is really happy with his '22 TRX and doesn't want a '23 with the "digital" dash.
Here's the links for either the McGard or Gorilla but I'd again advise that they're not worth the headache.

or
Not worth the headache because of the "key" and thieves can easily remove them???

I wonder if the X2 wheel locks will work on the TRX??
