Lost it on snow pulling 2 place snowmobile trailer

Good job by this guy too, looking at the video a second time, he did a good job moving slightly to the right or there would have been a collision. Hopefully he fared OK too and remained on the road.

That was some scary sh!t. I am glad all is OK with everyone. This is a little reminder to stay vigilant out there. You never know if you are going to be the crasher or the crashee.

Glad everyone is ok‼️ 🤦🏽‍♂️

Some of the best drivers who simulate and train to overcome oversteering with a back load attached would have had problems with that scenario. Just goes to show how quickly things can go wrong in those conditions. I take it you were running stock tires OP? Glad everyone got through unharmed. The truck can be fixed.
Stock tires
This was in Colorado between Kremmling and Rabbit Ears

Everyone is ok.
So close.
Truck has damage from a sled that flew out of aluminum trailer and hit truck
Had one tire pop the bead but after putting spare on we drove away ( sans trailer )

From my perspective the semi blast pushed me off road to the right and I over corrected, at least that seems to be what happened.
Thank the lord everyone is OK and you were only momentarily stranded in weather!

What mode were you in? Also were you in auto or 4WD? I love my new truck but my Chevy was better in the snow. Granted it had studded winter tires. I’ve studded the stock tires and it does ok so far, headed to Valdez Monday we will see how the TRX does. 😂 I drove from Fairbanks to Anchorage during a winter storm after I took delivery on the truck. TRX did ok with no studs in snow but not confidence inspiring. Glad you are ok.

That guy definitely helped avoid and he was not harmed at all, kept on driving.

That was super close. Glad everyone was ok. Great job keeping it from being worse than it was and great job by the driver of that other truck. That had to have been terrifying!!!

Man you did a great job in that situation. Held it off long enough to avoid a collision and hit the ditch in a decent orientation. Kudos to you.

I’m in a decision on the stock tires myself. I think it’s a big kiss Goodyear didn’t get the 3PMSR on these tires.

Phew! And that's why I live in NM ;)!

Lucky you didnt smack anyone or get hurt. Curious, did you get a CO driving too fast for road conditions ticket? How did the snowmobile get ejected?

I don't know how y'all drive in that kind of weather. I like to think I'm a pretty good driver even in slippery conditions like rain or off road in the mud, but to be honest I'd probably be a real hazard on a snow covered road like that one. I sure didn't see anything you did wrong.

Snow storm in Seattle and I felt adventurous and went out. Roads were ridiculously bad so probably didn’t drive more than 2 miles round trip. GF was giving me grief for heading back lol.

I am on BFG KM3 mud tires and they seemed fine and I felt confident in them. Ran in snow mode.

Glad you’re ok!

I'm in Seattle too and was out yesterday. Was too chicken to take the TRX so ran my 4Runner with steel bumpers instead 🤣
