Did they call you or email you to let you know it was in? I haven’t heard back from anyone yet but the tracker shows it’s delivered. It’s the weekend so I’m not too worried.Me too, I’ll be @ Koons next Saturday to pick up mine.
Carvana was way low on mine too they offered $41k when Carmax offered $56kGMTV offered $64-66k which isn’t bad, Carvana offer $53k. I’m hoping to get $70k private party. My old man wants to buy it but needs to sell his Raptor firstand if that’s the case I’ll probably just sell it to him for $65k. His is a year older twice the miles but he wants all the mods I did to mine.
Seriously. This is the worst part so far.Once mine landed @ Koons the day-to-day wait became excruciating![]()
Also I should mention in their email that tells you it’s there they state you need to take delivery within 14 days. Not sure how strict they are with that.Did they call you or email you to let you know it was in? I haven’t heard back from anyone yet but the tracker shows it’s delivered. Haha not to rain on anyone parade, but I got the text from Dan Cummins that my truck was there on a Tuesday, asked them to tint the windows and do the PDI, and it was ready for pickup that Friday. They are just as high volume, and had a ton of trucks there, but there was no B.S. about waiting forever while they “in processed” trucks. Glad I chose them. This is part of the email I got when my truck arrived at the dealership

I ordered March 28th, And it was ready for pickup June 17th.How long did it take to get your truck in?
Awesome for you. But just search the forum for how many people have to wait for weeks to be contacted by Koons, wait while their trucks sit on the lot, and have to wait for emails to say you can pick your truck up. There’s at least 10 threads of people complaining about trucks stuck at lots waiting to be delivered to Koons. Not to mention the mandatory “VA” tax you have to pay. Not my experience at all, if your good by all of that, then so be it. I’ll stick with fast orders, fast deliveries, no BS taxes, and no waiting in line.My truck arrived to Koons on Thursday and I picked it up on Sunday. “Dan Cum-mens” ain’t special. My understanding from Craig is that Koons was hit with like 75 TRX’s in two days! NO dealership can turn over that amount of factory orders in 1 week! Not even Dan Cum-mens

Full transparency…that VA tax amounted to $137 on a $91.5k MSRP truck. That still amounted to $9,949 off MSRP after doc fees/tax by the time I picked my truck up. Can’t beat that deal and I appreciate that there’s a dealer out there willing to discount that deep on such an insane truck.Awesome for you. Oh I agree, I’m not saying any dealership on here who offers the huge discounts, are bad. Just giving my personal experience based on others who’ve had long delays with Koons. Koons was actually closer for me, and I chose DC. And I’m pretty sure if I ordered another truck tomorrow from them, I’d have it in less than 3 months. That’s just the volume and delivery time they get from Stellantis. Even according to @tripleB’s charts, they average 14-15 days from window sticker to dealer lot. And mine hit at that exact time. I have no doubt DC is a good choice but that doesn’t mean Koons isn’t. I’ll be ordering from Koons again 100%.
A little under 4.5 months from order to delivery is quick…And that includes my truck sitting in a rail yard in OH for 6 weeks.
I agree, it is just the luck of the draw. But I took @tripleB’s stats and went with the best dealer discount, with the quickest shipping. 83 days from order until I picked it up. Some had quicker, some have longer, I just played the averages and got mine quick. As long as we all get them, that’s all that matters.Although shipping times are a valid concern when choosing a dealership to buy from they aren't an item that is in anyway controlled by that dealership. Even then, the Virginia average is 26-30 days and I'm sitting at 59 days and totally skewing the math.
I'm not a trucking logistician but I'd guess there is a much larger demand for and volume of truck traffic in the Virginia/east coast area than compared to trucking stuff down to Kentucky which helps with the faster shipping times to Dan Cummins.
My salesman Craig, texted me. I’d definitely reach out to your salesman.Did they call you or email you to let you know it was in? I haven’t heard back from anyone yet but the tracker shows it’s delivered. It’s the weekend so I’m not too worried.
