Intake possibility????

Is it possible with an rho hood one of the venders can produce an intake to utilize
a RHO hood with a side airbox like it has to finally get an intake that is a true ram air intake from the hood scoop to the airbox that also shows off the engine bay?!?! Probably a far fetched idea and a lot of money to do with having to buy the hood also but I’m sure some of us here would love it?? Thought? Could finally end the hot air intake to show off the engine bay debate…..

Isn't it the same hood just with different pieces underneath? I commented a while back about this to use with the CSP open box intake.

yes, so in theory you should be able to just buy the under hood portion then figure out how to seal the box from there.

Ahhh man I'm sooo down with doing this mod if it can work without having to replace the whole hood. I love my S&B but I would like to show more of the engine off and get more SC whine but not at the cost of introducing more hot air into the engine. That's been my only hold back from getting a different intake, the heat.

didn’t even think of that even better kind of like the adjustment for the KnN trx intake I’d assume but a little more involved, I think it would be a big hit for alot of owners

Ugh, I just came to the realization that I might not be able to have this mod. My ARB onboard air system is occupying the space where the filter box in the picture is sitting.

I use my air for my timbergrove air bags because I tow daily with my Rex. I may just have to relocate the compressor now
