Infotainment turned off by TRX thieves. Need help.

Insurance owned it and sold it at their auction process. Since they had settled won’t me, they owned it.

Same thieves bought the shell at the auction and put the car back together and sold it for big $$$$$.

My 2022 TRX was stolen this afternoon. I was able to recover it about 3 hrs later. My infotainment system is off. I assume they disconnected to stop GPS tracking. Can anyone provide a fix as to how I can turn the system back on. Thank you.

They tried to steal mine too. I cought thw fucker before they could leave with mine tho. The exhaust woke up my whole street at 2am.

Anyway reach under ur steering wheel. They disconeeceted two harnesses. Mine was the same. I plugged those two back in and everything worked fine. They also disconnected a harness to my horn right thru the fuckin grill. If ur horns dead look behind the A in ram in the grill. Small two wire harness they unclipped. Ill attach two phots for u. U from toronto or gta?

My TRX was at lone from the Costco in Mississauga, ON in the middle of the day. Peel Police and York Police were of no help. I had a tracker hidden in the truck. I told the police where the truck was showing on my app. They did not send a cop to take a look. I drove there myself waited for York police to show up for over 1.5 hrs. Finally, I just took the truck and drove off and called the police to let them know that I have my truck. The driver side window was broken and the infotainment screw is off.

Same motherfuckers as me. Get the igla. It seems to be good. They did same to me bought i cought the fuck before he could deive off. I woke up from my own exhaust. Talk abt a fukked up feeling. Anyways. Igla is good gps tracker oem tracker is not relaiable as they unplug and is part of u connect. Sorry to hear abt the truck. Bullshit. Cheers dude

Christian is good. He did mine last week. My truck almost stolen off my driveway aswell almost 2 weeks ago now. Woke up to my own exhaust wife ran to window smashing glass screaming. I got out there with a bat and my fob they were gone. Igla is good. Gps too i figure incase they manage to flat bed it

A parking spot hidden behind a building where they leave it for a while so that they can move it to their shop or shipping location at night

Also making sure theres no other trackers. Usually leave it there for a while and see if anyone shows up. Fukked

Buddy heres one from sherway thank god the valet guy told the owner. He looked and found these on hos 5 link suspension. Back left corner. Also this is a pic of the fucker that did it and tried to steal mine. U can buy these on amazon and pay monthly for service

As long as you dont mind losing your GPS, I wonder if installing a blocker in your truck would jam these trackers?

If a thief is trying to steal ur truck, and u shoot him and say he dies or of he doesn’t die. Would the person (owner of the truck) who shot him, would he go to jail? This is a question I always wonder?

It depends on local laws and the specific circumstances. Don’t take legal advice on a truck form.

In TX you can shoot them if they're on your property, but you have to ask yourself whether you really want to. I've never killed a man, but those I know who have aren't ever happy about it, regardless of the circumstances.

You want better policing, and criminals to have repercussions, support your police.

Boys all the same guys on our trucks I just got my Viper alarm installed and will also get the IGLA. I won't be able to get into the truck anymore FFS. lol.

FYI, Call the Highway Patrol! They don't waste any time looking for your vehicle. They actually have awards given out for recovered vehicles to the troopers.

For better or worse, when they are gone, they are generally gone forever. These things are in a shipping container and leaving for overseas within days. Had a ‘19 Ram Limited stolen from my driveway and the integrated GPS for security was disabled before I knew the truck was gone.

Hope that your insurance treats you right. They should help you get into an equivalent vehicle at no cost.

I really hope so.. sent the bill of sale over about 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard back from them. It’s so hard to get a new TRX these days and with the crazy finance rate I don’t know if I’m able to get another one

In Texas, we've had several stolen from the Houston area and taken south to the border and Mexico on smaller auto transport trailers. We've recovered some of them with LoJack, other auto security systems, and officer interdiction. Their methods change depending on the location.

Not in Texas....but I'm pretty sure anyone attempting to steal my truck came at me with a deadly wrapon. Gun, bat, screwdriver. All the same....but I'm not in Canada.
