If the TRX returns in 2026, what would it take for you to make a change?

I’d be tempted if they came out with either a Redeye or a Demon, offered in Patriot Blue or one of the other 100 “unique” colors they’ve done for the Challenger/Charger.
Go Mango Orange and not Construction Orange (A.K.A. Ignition Orange).

More power would be nice of course, but increasing reliability would make this truck legendary. Decent radiator, bigger front differential with an E locker and tougher CV’s, and hardening the electronics so they aren’t so delicate. 100% made in America would be cool too.

DC1500 vin matched to my 22 then I would add another!

If they would come without a speed limiter, or a more reasonable top speed, I'd be interested.

But nowhere near enough to buy a new TRX. Okay, maybe if they offered one with much less tech and a higher top speed. Maybe.

I’m just happy that I’ll have an option when I eventually have to replace this. Because raptor R would be my only other choice.

More power and tech updates. I may be in the minority but would I would like to see options like alcantera headliner and premium sound. No idea if ram ever does stuff like that. And some better sport seats like my buddies raptor r

A higher top speed is super easy to get. About $275 and a hours work at home to plug it in and your ready to go, if you don't care about the speed rating of your tires. I've seen 130 many times, 140 a couple of times and someday I may really push it:). I suspect it will top out somewhere near 155 but that's even too much for me to try on stock tires.

I've thought about getting it unlocked, even talked to a guy who can do it, but it hasn't made it close to the top of the list yet.

Not worried about the tires. After all, it's highly unlikely that I'd sustain even 118 mph, and especially loaded to GVWR. And while my Toyos are rated at a bit less than the stockers, they're one load range higher and probably a better quality tire.

For the occasional short burst I'm sure the OE tires are also good enough, as you've proven.

Manual transmission, 2wd option, manual t case shifter, and manual locking hubs as well. Basically get rid of a lot of the electronics and uconnect. No screen. Maybe a tape deck with an aux cord or something if we wanna be fancy. Fox suspension like the R. 37s and the gearing for them.

You don't need "anyone" to do it. It's easy to do yourself with a NolimtsZ.

Honestly, I’m good. My ‘22 does everything I want and more. HP increase really doesn’t matter.

Do you feel the tq steer when turning in 4A? I remember hating 4A in my 2019 Raptor for that reason. Don’t really notice it with the TRX thankfully.
About the same as the TRX had. Fords power steering over assists so that may be a factor.

Bring prices back down to reality. North of 800hp, 100% ICE, front end styling that sets it apart from the RHO, get rid of the stupid all red/pink looking taillights that are on the rho and the rest of the 1500’s. Give us back the tails with black in the center, looks more sinister. And make 37’s a factory option.
37's as an option with enough space for the 37" spare to actually fit. My spare has to be in the bed..

Big brakes and significantly more horsepower. 800 doesn’t move the needle much for me because you can get to 900-1000hp relatively cheaply with current powertrain. Would probably cost 40-50k to trade up and 10k to just go aftermarket. Warranty is nice but the price divide is too big for my wallet. I’m also in the minority and would love a street based truck that had the option of 2WD and 4wd. And lastly, go away from the mandatory black at the bottom and give us the option of one solid color (other than black currently).

I you want a 2wd "feel", try Baja mode. I think it's something like a 75/25 power bias split. Sure will smoke the rear tires.
