I just ordered my TRX from Granger!!!

I also bought my TRX out of state and brought back to Cali. I got mine from Dan Cummins in KY though and I drive it all the way back... now the bad news... I took my truck in to the dealership for service over the weekend and it STOLEN from service.. the broke in and took my keys from the lockbox. I highly recommend getting the IGLA installed... The Ravelco is nice but since I left it at service I would have also left my Ravelco Key so my truck would have still been stolen. The IGLA would have allowed me to issue service a temp pin I believe which would have saved me...
Sorry to hear, that totally blows! Which dealership?

This is for all the SoCal TRX owners, which dealership(s) are among the best to take the TRX to for servicing? LA county area would be nice, but I am willing to go to the I.E.

Ordered mine dec 30th we might get ours at the same time. I think the best bet would be to have it shipped to california (im in cali as well) because the break in period is 55mph max for the first 100 miles i believe and i don’t think pure highway miles all the way back to cali is good for the break in period. i may be wrong but that’s my two cents. Congrats btw
Ordered mine from Granger Dec 13th last year. It's about 2 hours away from the dealership right now. Should pick it up late next week (wishful thinking). I'm driving mine back to Michigan, and the plan is to fly in and stay the night in Des Moines. Head to Granger and drive around for a number of hours to get the initial 100 done. Then, hit the highway the next morning which will be fine for the remaining break-in. As per the break-in instructions, as long as it's under 55mph and 3500rpm for the first 100 it should be fine, then finish off the remainder of the break-in. Tons of people drive their TRX's back it'll be fine.

Pro-tip: Dont stay at the Quality Inn Des Moines Airport... it's a crap hole, the Hampton is nice though. Also, the girls at Granger will pick you up from the hotel so no need to get an Uber.
