How to use AlfaOBD on ram 1500

Hi all,

Still have the TRX. But with the TRX I used Tazer.

That being said, I have another 1500 I want to use AlfaOBD software on. It’s on a laptop I have.

The 1500 is a classic model (so 2013-2018 body style).

What do I need to interface the laptop to the truck. Do I need the SGW bypass?

If it’s 2018+, it needs a bypass. If it’s a classic, this is the bypass you want:

You can use pretty much any alfaobd compatible interface for windows, but the one I use most is vlinker fd+:
