Well, sort of. Hated that other trim levels got nice metal trim around the seat controls and we were stuck with cheap plastic. The problem was that nothing matched the black chrome. That is, until 2022. They revised the metal interior trim on the Limited and it is now the same black chrome color as the TRX parts. This means I was able to get parts for a 2022 Limited and installed them. To my eyes, it makes a huge difference. Although I admit I’m kinda dorky about this kind of stuff.

Around $120 each so not cheap, but not insane either considering you see it every time you open the door. Part numbers:

6VF061X7AB (passenger)
6VF071X7AB (driver)

Stock on top, new on bottom (obviously):

Up close with the rest of the TRX trim, color is spot on:

I really like that. Interested to hear response to ease of installation. That does look much better.

Install is very simple. Maybe 15 minutes a side being careful. Two Phillips screws and some clips. Takes a little more finagling to get them back on but it’s the exact reverse of removal. Buddy hooked me up with the Alldata but it’s not rocket science.

Darn you, I thought I was done spending money for awhile!

Same here!!
Seen title, thought "man, what kind of seat upgrade can you do to what is already a great factory seat?" Read post and seen first pictures, thought "meh, I don't ever look at the side of my seat, I'll pass."
Scrolled down and seen pics of them installed "Crap, where's my phone, gotta text my dealer and get those on the way!"

Thanks @OnTheReel, this forum is great at separating me from my money by pointing out all the things I never even knew I needed!

That is an exact play by play that I had :ROFLMAO:

Well just got them in the mail yesterday and installed, super simple! Helps to raise the seat up and lean it back I found out. Drivers side was tricky until then, passenger side was easy once I had the motion nailed down. Hardest part was removing the wiring harness plugs, was afraid I was going to break something but it all worked out. Looks great, its the little things! Thanks for helping me spend my money!

Admittedly at first I thought what is the big deal, then I saw the pictures and I can't unsee it now 🤣😂 ordered. Thanks for posting!

Lol...I thought the same thing....still not ordering but now I'm gonna notice for sure.....I'll wait to see how much it bothers me

Crap, I told my wife last night that I was basically done with mods 😜

Good to hear that some are finally getting their parts. It was like a month-long process for me. I only ordered one first to be sure they were right. And each took two weeks to deliver.

Thankfully my wife would never notice these. I figure if I do mods subtly and incrementally, it’s like the Ship of Theseus. Still the same truck to her, even though all the parts have been replaced. 🤫

Mine just came in. I'll install them tomorrow!

Did you guys do it without disconnecting the battery?
