All done, I didn't disconnect the battery because I wanted to be able to move the seat. And yes, the hack to getting the top to snap back over easy is to recline the seat backs alllll the way back as far as they will go. Made it simple!

I was thinking they said the battery disconnect for reasons of throwing a code because I thought you had to DC the seat controls, it wasn't until I started that I realized you don't DC the controls but merely unsnap the module and move into the new side cover and snap back in. The battery warning was alllll lawyers lol.

All my rams had that chrome trim and when the sun hits the console right it blinds the shit out of me.

Thankfully my wife would never notice these. I figure if I do mods subtly and incrementally, it’s like the Ship of Theseus. Still the same truck to her, even though all the parts have been replaced.

I had a neighbor and her husband was able to swap both bumpers, add LED lights, install a new wheel and tire package, and new exhaust - all in their driveway and she never had a clue.....it was still a "red truck"....until I walked in and was like "DUDE! I love your truck now..." ooops.

That is, until 2022. They revised the metal interior trim on the Limited and it is now the same black chrome color as the TRX parts.
