HELP! California Refused To Register My TRX

Perhaps DMV made a mistake. Based on that label, you should be able to register in CA because the label indicates Certified To Federal Emission Standards therefore you rate the exemption. It doesn't matter if it says Not For Sale in CA. The emission label could be missing and you will still be able to register it in CA. The difference means, instead of 8 years before your first smog test, you will now be required to test every 2 years. There are exemptions to being able to register with less than 7,500 miles but at this point it doesn't matter as you've exceeded the mileage.

You are registering as CA Non-Certified Exempt. I think you're better off having CHP do your vehicle verification and expect to be referred to a state ref for testing. Your local community college should have one on site. Moving forward, expect to be raped in fees for every day the truck has been in CA or. . you can (try) submit a Statements of Facts and request a portion of those fees be waived due to their error. Good luck!

Haha I’m going to Tennessee the end of the month to prospect a new area. California keeps getting worse and worse if that even possible! Fly into Nashville and gonna recon some areas while there to see how it is.
What would you be looking for when you’re refining areas? I’ve been tossing that idea around as well. Wouldn’t mind getting some perspectives as to what to look for

Hi everyone a few months back I purchased a Sandblast Edition TRX from Frisco chrysler dodge jeep ram in Texas.
They had told me they handled everything with the DMV and all my fees and taxes had been paid. Once I arrived to my local DMV to finalize the registration they verified the VIN and vehicle and told me it needed a smog, and weight certificate. Luckily they were able to find a loophole in their rules to wave the smog check so then I only needed to do the weight certificate and they gave me about two months to do it or until my temporary license plate was up. I finally did the weight certificate like a few days before the temp plate would expire and when I went in the remembered my case and said they actually needed to redo the VIN verification because of some call they had done to Sacramento about my TRX. so they did it and when they popped the hood it had the "NOT TO BE SOLD IN CALIFORNIA" sticker so they pretty much told me because of that all my paperwork was now void and said sorry but that I would need to return it to the dealer that sold it to me. I told them how would I do that if this was their mistake and now about 3 months had gone by since purchased and I had added well over 5k miles on it. They said they knew they messed up but couldn't do anything about it now that they were aware of it so they offered to refund me all the fees and taxes I had paid (about $10k). they did the refund there instead of having me fill out the refund form which would takes moths to get back.
So now I'm trying to figure out what I can do since I do not want to get rid of it but california says I can't register or try registering it until it has 7,500 miles on it which it already did but because the paper work doesn't have it at over 7,500 miles I have to cancel everything.
I'm trying to see if a friend could lend me his address to register it in Nevada since I work there too sometimes or what my options could be. If I could avoid paying the sales taxes on the truck it would be a plus.

Here is my Precious:
Time to move my dawg!

Honestly something some what close to a major city with at least an acre. Don’t wanna be rural but don’t want main city also.
