Granite Crystal Metallic RAM TRX Photo Thread

I have heard that a Regional Rep can modify an order up to when it's at D status. Once it hits D1 it cannot be modified. But I don't know that to be true.

what does D status and D1 status mean ? and i know no-one knows but based on the status is there any guess on timelines yet for delivery ?

i dont know what "early build status"is or if im in it. i believe i am a D status currently

what is FCA by the way ?
FCA = Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.

If you are in D, you may be locked in, pending what FaZt1 said. Earlier status would be like BG or C. Kinda like the alphabet, the higher the letter, the further along you are in the process.

just googled this, thanks for all the info everyone! I see some pics, one of the back of a truck with the rambar in this thread, where the grey looks a lot lighter...I'm wondering is that's the actual color in sunlight of the Granite graphite as it sures looks a lot lighter that i thought? Is this below the Granite color ?

New to the forums here and also ordered the Granite, so thank you for the great, in-person, photographs! I had originally reserved a Ford Bronco Wildtrak, but that entire process has become a complete disaster, so if you think what you are going through waiting for the TRX has been frustrating check out the bronco6G forums... I previously had a 2012 Raptor and loved it, but I won't do a V6 Raptor or wait until 2022 to find out what Ford is going to do about the engine. I've been following the progress of the TRX since the concept vehicle was shown, so I am so happy Ford blew it with the Bronco because it led me here.

I submitted my build and put down my deposit yesterday. I'm a little late to the party, but I don't need my TRX until April or May 2021.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress!

Thanks for sharing the perspective about the Ford bronco, hearing others’ still complaining about the Chevrolet C8 Corvette as well. It’s good to have things put into perspective to help all of us impatient folks continue to wait for our TRX to arrive

It will be worth it in the end. At least the TRX we are seeing now will be the TRX we have in our garages. The Bronco is a bait and switch beyond comparison.

I was thinking the same thing, i really prefer the BLACK stock rims instead of the bead lock rims. I asked my dealer if i could change to the Black rims but they said it wasn't an option as this car as "I'm purchasing was configured with the bead lock wheels and that is the way the vehicle will be built. It cannot be changed" ***Can anyone comment on this as I'm not sure why if the car has yet to be build I cant opt for the black rims?
Ya I can comment....it sounds like a dealer stock order. I ordered a granite TRX with bead locks and carbon fiber....when i heard about the constraints, i had the dealer change the order...no problem....but my order is a sold order. Maybe that makes a difference?

For those that have the trx in their possession, do we know of any recalls?

I got an update from my dealer today I’m told my build date is 2/15 However my D1 status went back to a D and here was the explanation;

“The materials for vehicles did not come in as planned, they jumped the gun. Many of the TRX vehicles have been rescheduled because of this. The vehicle was in D1 and went down to D until parts are in hand, they were pushed back/delayed. The vehicle will be built 2/15 because they are sure they will have what is needed before then. We do this every day and are confident in what they are saying and understand the process, so we are confident in FCA delivering what they are saying to us.

They have 2 systems: for their eyes (internal) and dealers' eyes (external).”
