Granite Crystal Metallic RAM TRX Photo Thread

Thanks for the pictures. I was growing frustrated with the lack of information on my order so i started looking at other options. I was seriously considering cancelling my order and going with a Challenger wide body red eye. The rebates are very good right now. I know patience is a virtue but I struggle with it. Seeing these pics help and tomorrow we will see a flood of pics and videos.

You and me both. Though, I've been considering getting a proper tow vehicle instead. But, seems like so many refreshes are happening (Ford F250/350 and Ram 2500/2500) in 2022. ?

They should of just promised delivers would start Q1 and just build the LE's in Q4. This non sense already got me looking at other options if I don't get my truck by Q1. Already reserved a Hummer for '22 just in case

Sales guy told me that everything he has heard on his side is the TRX is so much farther out then anyone expects. I just think it's all just speculation and rumor mill working overtime. He also wants to sell me a challenger, lol! I totally agree with KnightMare that Ram could just come out and tell us what the deal is. We can handle it.

I guess I should have held onto my Laramie a while longer.

My sales guy told me that they expect to start deliveries in December with the first batch of deliveries and that I should have my truck no later than the end of Feb, but it could arrive as soon as late Jan. Not sure what much farther out than anyone expects means, but my salesman just contacted me yesterday and didnt seem concerned or anything. Maybe it gets pushed to the right a bit, but I think that everything seems to be in line with what has been officially stated so far. I am guessing that more information will begin to come out after the embargo is lifted and people can actually talk about the truck. I am almost 65% certain that there will be a TRX built at some point in the future.

Sounds like we were sold a bunch of BS ...I'm still in BG from an order placed 8/19 and no communication. If round one delivers late dec/early jan, the rest of us are probably looking at spring next year.... What exactly is holdinng up production?. it can't be color, options.... it would have to be frame, drivetrain, specific interior components... anything that is special to the TRX. By the time we see our trucks, news will be out on the 2022.. it will be a long winter...

No, I didn't want to go edition 1 for that reason. I'm going all black on my spec, dealer said should be able to pick specs in November

Awesome looking truck! These wheels look better than the beadlocks. Not that they are bad looking just that there are no other shiny surfaces on the truck. They just don't look right but that's only my opinion. Nice that they offer different options so that everyone is happy.

I was thinking the same thing, i really prefer the BLACK stock rims instead of the bead lock rims. I asked my dealer if i could change to the Black rims but they said it wasn't an option as this car as "I'm purchasing was configured with the bead lock wheels and that is the way the vehicle will be built. It cannot be changed" ***Can anyone comment on this as I'm not sure why if the car has yet to be build I cant opt for the black rims?

Someone that has more knowledge of the build status can give a more precise answer than me, but I can say YES, it can be changed, BUT it all depends on the current build status for your order. I believe once it hits D status (don't quote me) it is stuck with what you optioned. I cannot say for sure if it's when it hits D status or another status before where it gets locked in, but there is a point of no return.

I should also say that some sales people may tell you it can't be changed in an early build status, before it gets locked in, because they simply don't know or don't want to bug their manager to do it.

what does D status and D1 status mean ? and i know no-one knows but based on the status is there any guess on timelines yet for delivery ?

The status codes are somewhere on here, and also on FB... but from what I remember, D is allocation confirmed, parts available. D1 is estimated scheduled build date and delivery date.

The only thing I've seen from any FCA source was Head of Ram Trucks saying first deliveries would be by Christmas.
