Geiser springs and 37's on today!!

Did the springs and 37's today, stock bead locks powder coated black with real bead lock rings. Install was easy, about 2.5 hrs front n rear.
The ride and suspension definitely isn't as smooth as stock even driving with the stock tires but I'm hoping having the suspension reset solves this. Still rides good but it feels different now especially on the little bumps. Pretty sure the reset will fix it. Love the look. The stock wheels look bad ass black. Maxxis razr tires and I've ran these on many trucks and they are load d like the factory tires. Looks sweet. Very curious how it feels after you do suspension reset. At various angles, I think the stock 35’s just look a little weak in the massive wheel wells. Would be great to hear about 37” m&s tires that don’t suck power and still ride nicely.

I believe the Taser DT has the ability to reset the suspension calibration. If so, it would probably be more cost effective than a dealer visit. @Boosted do you know by chance?

From my understanding, it does not. AlfaOBD does though.

I’ve been looking for progressive springs since I first got my TRX but Eibach fell behind and there’s not really any others out there right now - so I’m curious to find out how you feel about them. Daily driving and especially off-roading as that is mostly all I use mine for.

Springs TYPICALLY don't stop wheel travel, shocks do. What aftermarket springs will do is change the amount of up vs down travel when compared to the stock spring. So these springs will allow more up travel than stock, but less down travel as its extending the shock more overall than stock springs.

Edit: I should say generally speaking. Things like coil bind, bump stops etc can come into play here, but if we are talking purely springs, this applies.

Maybe it doesn't stop the travel but I'm referring to this video (at 47 sec in) that RAM only found two manufactures that fit their specifications and the springs were designed to allow the maximum off-road control so changing the springs may affect the overall performance?

You're changing a pivotal part of the suspension, so yes itll change the performance in some way shape or form. Everything has a balance and trade off. As you change OEM suspension geometry, performance is going to change, positive or negative. Oftentimes, ride height provides more benefits than not, but we are speaking in generality here.

Doing recal tomorrow, after driving it 800 miles with springs there are some things I noticed.
It rides a little rougher but still feels good.
It handles better on the street, feels better through corners.
Hoping the recal smooths out the ride a little. Small bumps are felt more with springs and it felt that way before the 37's.

Recalibration was definitely worth it! Truck is smoother and feels like the shocks are working correctly again. It felt a little bouncy and would chatter some on small bumps before the reset.

Can anyone confirm the calibration can be done with Alphaobd? Would rather not have the dealers hands on my truck if I don’t have to.

Yes dealer charged 179.99. I own a shop and have fca access to be able to scan 2018 and newer dodge products and my scanner wouldn't do the relearn. I hate going to dealer. I didn't have a problem paying though because I know how expensive it is to own a shop, pay technicians and buy tools.

Thanks for the honest feedback on the ride quality. Too many people get emotionally attached to their vehicles and swear the ride quality of 10-Ply 37’s is the same as the factory 8-Ply 35’s.

I did choose the maxxis razr because it's still d rated tire so that should help over the E. Most are E rated in the 37 12.5 18

Installed Geiser and 37” today. Overall super happy. Ride quality feels solid and almost prefer to stock springs. Definitely glad have the ram power steps as it’s tall!
