Geiser springs and 37's on today!!

Isn't it funny how we like black wheels now? Back in my day it was shiny wheels.

I've tried, I just can't get there. I put black with mill accents on my F250 and that was as close as I could get. It was nice but lacked contrast. Even black bead locks with graphite or dark gray would be better for me. The black just blends into one big black donut Sorry, I'm that guy and I like polished rims. I'm past chrome, but brushed, silver, and polished do it for me. Your truck looks amazing, nice job.

I did 37's with geisers on the stock wheel as well. After ride height calibration, it rode substantially better than previously. It's also gotten better now that the springs have settled completely. The only difference I feel with the setup and curious if anyone else has felt the same, is a lot more torque steer which before hand on the stock setup never really did.

I have noticed more torque steer as well with the Geiser springs. But I had also done some power upgrades at the same time so I wasn't sure which one was the cause. I guess now I know. LOL

Definitely, so strange but I'm used to it already. Had a trackhawk and those had severe torque steer so it's nothing new to me. Just gotta make sure you have all control under full acceleration haha.

I have a theory that tire load rating is pretty important to how these trucks ride. Everyone dogs on BFG KO2s, but the C load rated KO2s on my Raptor were awesome. I often see people comparing replacement tires for the TRX, but seldom mentioning load rating. Are Maxxis Razr's the only D-rated 37x12.5x18 ?

Typically I just drive it in auto if that's what you're referring to. I have a custom setup but rarely do I change the drive modes unless I'm towing

Did the springs and 37's today, stock bead locks powder coated black with real bead lock rings. Install was easy, about 2.5 hrs front n rear.
The ride and suspension definitely isn't as smooth as stock even driving with the stock tires but I'm hoping having the suspension reset solves this. Still rides good but it feels different now especially on the little bumps. Pretty sure the reset will fix it. Love the look. The stock wheels look bad ass black. Maxxis razr tires and I've ran these on many trucks and they are load d like the factory tires. That makes a lot of sense. I really only do pulls in Baja or Sport too and never notice torque steer.

With the power primarily in the rear, you're not getting that pull on the front left axle like you would if more power is sent up front.

I totally would drive in Baja consistently, but man those RPM'S obviously rev a lot higher and with 37's on there I'd get about 8-9 MPG LOL. But then again you don't buy this truck for gas mileage.

I think so, I looked at so many I forgot but in a 18 the D in a 37 was scarce.

Longview area for me, if i was closer i would have loved to take a look at the Geiser spring setup....for me i like to research and look at it first hand berfore spending the money, but i have been hearing a lot of good things about those springs.

They are a great product. I noticed they weigh a bunch more than the factory springs. To bad you live way down there if you were closer and decided to get them I'd help you do install. I own a shop in our local area so we have all the correct tools and a bad ass strut machine. I did entire job front and rear in 2.5 hrs.

Waiting for my 37”s. Geiser Springs installed as well. The height, stance etc is on point. I have also noticed the ride feels a bit stiffer compared to stock springs. Small bumps hits a bit hard. Off-road a lot softer.
I’ve been told once the springs settle a bit, then it’s ok. I haven’t been driving much since I installed Geiser, TRX been in the shop going thru major bumper upgrades etc.

I don’t usually like the beadlocks but I like yours. Powder coating the rings really helped. Were the springs necessary to keep the tires from rubbing? I read that some 37’s will fit without rubbing if you use the stock wheels.

Nice!, thanks for that. I redid all the suspension on my power wagon with Thuren parts, wasn't too bad of a job but those damn struts are another story.

I have stock offset kmc wheels with 37x12.5r18 Toyo rts with no rubbing. If you jump the truck it’ll rub at full bump but I’ve been through pretty solid off-road time with no issues.

Running Geiser springs and 37 Toyo Open Country M/T, reset adaptive dampening at the dealer and noticed the same thing with the steering. Odd, but still very happy with the truck.
