THIS THING LOOKS SICK!! Def keep us posted on fitment and quality. If this thing can take a beating (like just as much as factory skids), then i might do this upgrade at some point. Would be super nice to have the extra fuel for when we decide to try and find the arctic circle haha

Just looked to see what shipping would cost and it says it cant ship to my address. We're not in California lol. Anyone know why??

Have a lurk at my previous post. They don't typically recieve orders for the tank internationally so it's not set up on their website. Send them an email. The guy that helped me out is Grant. They can help organise shipping but they need to make some calls to have it calculated. Took like a week to get a shipping price back. Or you also have the option to organise your own carrier to pick it up from them.

Ah ok. What did shipping run you out of curiousity?

See below:
Shipping was pricey. Sea freight was $2400AUD (~$1600USD). Air freight $3755AUD (~$2550USD). I went with sea freight. It took right on 4 months. I had to get a customs broker to clear the shipment in USA, $260USD. Then the warehouse fees charged by the shipper themselves was another $300USD upon pick up; which I wasn't overly happy about. So in the end I only saved approx. $400USD at the cost of a 4month wait lol. A small win. Although I also don't know if there are any additional fees for air freight.

The price was quoted by SCD Performance. I had them look after shipping. I did also do some independent research on freight carriers and got some far cheaper quotes. However after reading a lot of reviews, there were some horror stories about the cheaper companies, hiding fees and holding freight hostage. I was also really skeptical about such a large price delta. It was hard to find recommendations as I imagine independent shipping from Oz to USA is relatively niche. So I decided not to risk it and went with SCDs carrier.

I didn't order through the website. I sent them an email. My contact guy was Grant. I also had my parents, who live in Brisbane, go and visit their shop. Grant sent me the invoice via email and I ran my card over the phone.

Holy $hit. That's a lot of coin for a larger gas tank.

I think people should call Transfer Flow and ask them to make a replacement here in the States.

The more people that call and ask for one the better. (530) 893-5209
Yep. All in including shipping, about $1000 more than these tanks

When you get yours can you take a measurement of whether it hangs lower than the OEM gas tank skid plate? That's a deal breaker for us so it would be super helpful!
Sure. SCD says it does not lower the clearance height of the vehicle, just fills the space between skid and tank. Ill measure and take pics to confirm though.

Yea they emailed me back and said it sits 2" lower than the factory tank. Just wanna be sure that's not lower than OEM skid. My truck's in the shop and i dont trust most company's claims so hoping you can confirm
