Did you assemble those brake lines or source them from a manufacturer? If sourced, could you please share the details?

I ended up changing them since the stainless line was so ridged. I have a custom hydraulic/brake shop I work with that silver solders brake lines. Any had them cut at the straight, I use a 3an 90 deg fitting on caliper side, due to the angle of the caliper. The factory brake side fitting I’m still messing with, but I don’t think it will work.

Work has been crazy, but finally got this installed, brake in and testing will begin this week.

17" wheel rear caliper brackets are here:

Any updates on this?

The kit fitment has been approved back in May/June, but since Edwin wanted to try other wheels venders than Method for more choices while he had no luck so far this is where we stand.
Since this downsize kit is special design - Components are exclusively made for the kit, as example from the 17" wheel availability so we can only accept "pre-order" for a minimum of 10 orders.

We are able to secure an 17" rim and run a wheel fitment test.
For initial test we didn't notice (nor expect) the hub opening was so much larger than the OE, so we "Hit the wall" without even touching the corner.

So we went back to our design data/3D to figure out where went wrong. As according to the design this kit not only requires less space axially but has a 40mm diameter reduction so by calculation there is no reason why this kit wouldn't fit 17" rim.

A closer and harder look discovered that this aftermarket rim (on right) has a much larger hub opening than stock (left).

So we have to compensate this extra large hub hole by adding a 15mm spacer like below:

Happy ending:

We shall receive prototype components early next week for this 17" brake kit when we will do another hard parts test and report back.
Updating this 17" wheel fitment test.
I apologize for the extended delay in formal release of this 17" brake kit.

The first brake kit was confirmed to fit this Method wheel by Edwin but then he was looking for another alternative wheel vender so he asked to wait for his test fit.

I just spoke with Edwin this morning and he said he will be racing with this kit with his new 17" wheels next week and report back.

The 2nd kit was also pending to the final fitment test which I hope can be confirmed very soon.

It’s taken me well over a year (apologize Warren), but we finally cracked the code thanks to RB Brake and Mazzula. They are a match mate in heaven. Introducing a 17” brake kit and headlock wheel combo with a “ no grind “ fittment. This has been a personal pet pea of mine since I purchased my TRX. And with the tireless help of Warren with RB Brake. I can say he has solved the problem!. Chris from Mazzula Off-road complements the RB Brake kit with a Forged 17” 0mm offset solution. More pics to follow in the coming days.

Done! First ever 17” x 9” Mazzula wheel mounted on a 37x12.50 Toyo Trail RT. This has been a year long project and super happy with the results…
