HOT! First RAM TRX Owner on the Forum!

Any of the guys with a truck with the Digital Rear View Mirror Camera can you confirm the location of the actual camera for the system. There is conflicting information out there that the camera to the left of the CHMSL is actually the bed view camera and the digital rear view mirror camera is in the tailgate on the other side of the backup camera (there are 2 cameras in the tailgate)

The reason for the confusion is from the videos showing off the feature even with the camera adjusted all the way down you can't see any part of the bed which would seem strange if the camera were mounted in the CHMSL and the view looks very similar to that of the Escalade that has their camera mounted in the tailgate. But this could just be wishful thinking so I can still use a bed cap and not lose that feature

Hey man where’s the love and the photos?
Sorry I’ve been absent for so long. Was preparing the truck for a weekend run with Midwest Offroad Expeditions. Ran 300 miles through the Huron Manistee National Forest here in Michigan. Had a blast. Truck handled everything flawlessly.

Thanks Granger... looks like a great time... truck looks amazing in the blue.

The tires perform well in snow? How did they compare with the other trucks on your event with regard to tire traction? Also what are the auxiliary lights? Easy to install?

Tires performed great. I’d say just as good as the BF Goodrich K02’s on most of the Raptors. Lights are Baja Design LP4’s. Very easy aux plug ins. Only issue was the brackets. They are for a standard 2019+ new body Ram 1500. Had to cut and weld the brackets a little to make them work.

Did you paint your front skid plate? Is it black or charcoal? In the pictures it looks charcoal against the black bumper. Might just be the lighting. Looks good regardless.

Must be the lighting or a lot of dirt. LOL Haven’t painted anything.

I am wondering about the same thing.

No that you've had your TRX for awhile and you run with other Raptor owners, how would you say it compares?
