Exhaust sound increase - No exhaust swap

I taped/clamped the left side of the truck and left the right side open. Started it and put my phone on the bumper about the left and right exhaust to get those numbers...at idle. I should have explained, I was being lazy

I lost track of who was using what but wouldnt the 3” clamps be the ones to use, especially considering the weld around the mess screen makes the pipe slightly larger, is there a reason for getting the 2.75”?

People have used 2.75” with no issues. I ordered those but I have no patience to put those on. I started doing it and you really gotta put some effort to get the clamp on. I went and did the 3” because it was easier. So I’m just offering up the 2.75” because they do work, others have used them, I just don’t feel like messing with them

My guy that installed mine (2.75) said that 3 were easy and the forth was a bitch.

I used the 2.75 ones...if I had to do it again, I would have used 3”. I went with what people were using...but they were wrong!

I bought the 3" clamps off of Amazon. Hopefully they go on easy. When I hammer my TRX I do not hear exhaust. All I hear is the supercharger lol. My friend says it's loud af from the outside though.

Next step muffler delete if I still need it louder.

Always drive with the back window open, it makes a HUGE difference...I blocked off the screens, and it definitely makes more of a bark now too!

Are you guys covering all 4 or the back 2? Thinking this is a great option for a slightly louder sound. If not...off go the mufflers!

Dumb question -- don't these serve as the condensation low point drains as well? Wondering if it will accelerate rusting

I initially did the back two first and drove it for a day. Then I did the other two. I kinda feel like it was slightly louder with just the back two done…..could be my ears playing games on me too

No, they’re actually on the side of the pipe, none are on/facing the bottom. Some interesting info

I did all 4, wouldn’t go back, I see no downside actually. Would love to ride in one that hasn’t done this actually, curious how it sounds...do them back to back

Weld a plate over them. No worries about clamps loosening.
